Purpose of the channel. Literally he asks very inappropriate questions all the time. Somehow ppl believe he has good intentions. To me however over time it feels and I observe that he seems to get off on stories and ppl’s despair and crazy lives. Often triggering those already battered ppl w/question that are perverted.

Marcus is a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde. He helps some of these people by buying bus tickets, makeovers etc. But, he is clearly a pervert who gets off on sexual deviancy and sex trauma. He has absolutely no real genuine concern for these people. Some questions he ask are sick, disturbing, disrespectful and out of pocket. He is getting rich off of these people and their stories. He should gather more resources and at the end of the interview offer them a list of resources that can possibly assist them. And, his daughters watch these videos and some of these questions are questionable. He need to put trigger warnings at the beginning of these videos.

Okay so he cheated when he was younger. He made a mistake/decision and is alot older now and trying to improve. I think people would be shocked by half the things others have done in their lives. I love the overall body of work but the questions that delve into the sexual history of the subjects comes across as incessantly obtrusive, needlessly voyeuristic...even borderline perverse. Personally, I don't need to know how many times a person who is down & out had sex, who they did it with or how many times. Its one thing to ask as a matter of helping the viewer understand all the elements that led up to the subject's current position, but when you're literally asking questions like "whether the mom was better than the wife", if someone had an orgasm while being sexually violated and/or how recently someone had sex is salacious & lascivious. Whether they were the orchestrator or victim of sexual trauma its less intriguing than what their plan is to pull themselves out of their current circumstance or what the interviewer's plan is to HELP.
I like the channel over all as well and I agree with some of your points. I was one of the viewers who kept commenting that the next Josias video should be of him getting on the bus to go back home. Other than that, we don't want to see his descent into the grave....step by step...video by video... I understand at first he was probably riding the wave, then actually grew to care about the young guy as a little brother-but it was going off the rails. Be well...
Yess!! The way he immediately wants to go into detail when it comes to sexual situations/ traumas in these stories but when he said that he committed suicide and had to be resuscitated 4 times, he couldn’t care less and and didn’t ask no further questions right after. any normal empathetic person would be shocked and immediately try to either want to genuinely know and understand how that came to be, what they felt etc.or at least comfort them and ask if they feel better mentally now, but no. It’s a recurrent theme i‘m seeing in his interviews, very disturbing. i believe he doesn’t actually care about these individuals just numbers and content especially the ones sexual in nature.
