I've been using Just for Men for my eyebrows for years. I purchased it at the Dollar store($1.25). I use Vaseline around my eyebrows so the dye won't stain my skin. Definitely have lots of qtips. Great tips TFS🤗💕

Thanks Penny! Could you please do a tutorial wit showing exactly how to care for your brows: shaping/plucking/ above eyebrow plucking/shaving, & then how to properly outline the brow (especially for those losing or have lost the outter 1/3 of brow hair, & some who have barely No brow hair at all) with a pencil & properly full in w/ different type of products: brush & pomade, pencil, pen, brow stamp. Literally Everything ground to do w/ the brows. And it could really be very helpful if maybe you demonstrated on different women who are all facing each different issue with their brows. It's hard to envision what you might mean demonstrating on yourself when you may have much more brow then many women over 50+, or have gone through chemotherapy. Thanks Penny! You're The Best!!!!

My brows have always been darker than my hair and I like that! The hair is more coarse on my brows, so the pens to draw in hair don’t seem to look right. I also have a scar in one brow and no hair is in that spot. I’ve been using the Mercier brow powder.

I just started dying my brows with men’s beard product you mentioned. works great. Just turned 70, no way I’m walking around with white hairs through out my brows & is so aging. This is such an easy process & not time consuming. Most days I can go without brow products. Mostly do them when going out socially.

I started tinting my mom’s eyebrows in her mid/late 60’s (I was still working in a salon then) and it was such a HUGE difference. She was a redhead when she was younger so her eyebrows turned kind of a baby blonde. Giving them back some color *really* looked good (still does and she’s almost 77) 😍 I’m so glad you love it too!

I use the Just for Men tint in the mascara tube and LOVE IT. I bought and use the little gum cleaners you buy for your teeth, especially if you have braces. They look like tiny brushes. Those are PERFECT to use. I roll it in the mascara wand brush itself, get the color on and then brush it into my brows. LOVE it. They are disposable and are good for much more than one use each, as well.

Penny, totally off topic so please forgive me…you mentioned months back that you were putting together an updated Microneedling protocol video and I got SO excited! Enjoyed video. I’ve been tinting my eyebrows for years with Refectocil and use a spoolie. I notice that using a vitamin C serum can kinda bleach out my brows over time so just want to put color back. Glad to hear you mention tubing mascara. I just started using DHC and really like it. Thanks Penn.

I use a hemp tint. It’s powdered and I only use what I need. It’s $9 and has lasted a year. It’s so easy. You are right! It has really amped up my looks.

You are absolutely correct Penny! I have natural light blonde hair and grey sparkles (!) and my brows are naturally dark brown, but are now, at 60, lightening up. So I definitely have been tinting my brows for years, myself. So easy, and makes such a difference. Same for tubing mascara and lash primer! Phew, glad I have discovered this ok...

Bought Just for Men after thsi video last week. It's SO much better than Refectocil and so freaking easy to use. I found the plastic tray that comes with it to be very convenient and easy to use. Lumify I love and have been using the past year bc of your suggestion. I'm going to try this mascara but after trying so many I always end up going up back to Thrive. Amazing tips Penn!

I love tubing mascara! I have also been using brown for a every day look instead of black. I think the black ages me as I mature. (Save the black for an full glam look) Sometimes less is best

Excellent I've needed to try tinting but at home thank you and always prefer toward ashy to subtract any red. Not as much for greys but due to the outer isn’t as full if think tinting would help as I barely use make up. Really just eyeliner so I don't use an eyebrow pencil but should lol Thank you! 😊

I’m trying the brow tip #1 for sure! I usually have to get mine tinted every 3-4 weeks. I’m a dark blond but my body hair bleached very easy. Great on the legs but not the brow!

Honestly, I have some seriously healthy eyebrows and just slap my mascara that is more than 3 months old on my eyebrows. Takes about 10 seconds per day and isn't a biggy. I rotate my mascara out every 3 months so this gives me a bit more use from a tube I''m no longer using close to my eyes. Of course you have to have mascara that doesn't flake or smudge, but so far so good. I agree on the Lumify for the eyes...I'll use it today before a special date. Thanks for another great video Penn. I have been doing this for years with mens moustache dye. Grew out my hair during covid. it is now platnium. I now mix light brown and blonde color to get a good shade. I use a tiny eyeliner brush and brush the hairs in the opposite direction applying to skin also to fill in since my brows are sparse.

Also, I wanted to recommend My Amazing Lashes tubing mascara! It's better than Thrive or Tarte in my opinion -- just smoother formula that stays on perfectly until splashed with enough water to remove.

Love it!! I've been doing this exact thing for many years! I mix in a plastic medicine cup, and you can get a free one by asking the pharmacy. Lining Vaseline across the top & under is super important, as Penny said. TRY IT, you'll love it!! I typically do it right before I shower, so I'm wiping it off & then washing off the chemicals, not leaving them on my skin

I'm such an OG Penn Smith fan - I do all of the above since you first mentioned them. lol Once I tried tubing mascara, I've never gone back. The easy removal keeps me from tugging at my eyes. I even wear tubing mascara during water aerobics and they hold up just fine.

I thought about trying the tinting the brow with the men's formula and the lumify (I I also have blue eyes and looks worse as you age) but never followed through. You just pushed me off the fence! Great tutorial!

Love your videos & product recommendations. Can't wait to try the brow die & tubing mascara. One of the greatest products I got this year was a splash filter sink faucet aerator. It's a game changer for washing my face. You can swivel the faucet up & just stick your face in the water to rinse. You don't get water dripping down your arms or all over the sink. I LOVE IT! No more cupping hands constantly to splash water on your face. I got the Cecefin brand on Amazon because it comes with a box of water purifiers. I have nothing to do with this company. I'm just a happy customer. I don't dread washing my face & making a mess.

Hi Penn!😊❤ I’ve been on the fence about dying, my eyebrows, and was kind of chicken… lol. But now I have a newfound hope! Thank you! 😊I’ve been using the THRIVE mascara and love it, and I’ve also found that Milani makes a tubing mascara in a similar colored green tube that is pretty good as well! I end up using that for day-to-day and the thrive for when I want a more voluminous look!

You can do it! Definitely start with the lightest color (I think light brown) and only process 5 minutes. You’ll be amazed how easy it is!! That Milani mascara is really good too! I had to learn to use it- it’s more wet than the thrive. Once I figured out that I have to wipe the wand a little it was great! 💙💙

Agreed! When I darken my eyebrows my face rearranges for the better. I’m not going gray but my brows are… I dunno, faded? They’ve never been pow with pigment but I notice it’s more necessary for them to be darkened. I tried JFM and the color never stuck 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️

TUBING MASCARA! Yes! My holy grail is the heimish smudge stop (curling) (amazon for about $13)! Normal waterproof mascaras give my raccoon eyes but with this tubing one I can go for a run, rub my eyes , take a bath with it on & it NEVER smudges, flakes, moves…. And yet somehow it just removes with water. I wet my fingertips and press water on my lashes and then you can feel them gum off (you can gently slide the tubes off your lashes). My lashes never feel stiff or crunchy (which makes me lose what few I have) 😊

Before using Just for Men, remember to do a patch test! I had a severe allergic reaction and lost eyebrow hairs from the scabbing afterwards. I followed the directions too. Just be careful!

for eyebrows i think it depends. For some people bleaching their brows will make them look younger i think. My big makeup tip is only applying mascara to your top lashes. you avoid any kind of darkness and shadows on your undereye wich i think makes you look more awake and youthful (it depend on eye type i would say for small, elongated or 'deepset' eyes it's great

TOTALLY agree! My hair went pure white when I was still in my 30’s. Same for my eyebrows. If I don’t tint them… I seriously look like an alien. I have super thick brows and I actually go for a full contrast, using Medium Brown.

Heimish has an AMAZING tubing mascara for and that like a natural lengthened look. I prefer the straight wand one over the curved one personally. The formula is better imo.

New subscriber here! Loving your videos! I do have a question I was hoping you could answer. Do you recommend eyelash lift & tinting? I have tried eyelash extensions 2 times and had bad, bad allergic reaction to the glue, which breaks my heart because I loved the look. Also, do you think the industry will come up with a glue for those of us who are allergic to the cyanoacrylate in the glue. So far, there is no cyanoacrylate-free lash glue on the market. 😢 Any suggestions?? Thank you!

I had an eyelash lift and right afterwards, my eyelashes started to fall out (became sparse) which was heartbreaking - they have grown back, but it took 3 months. I'm pretty sure it was the eyelash tint as I hadn't done anythings else to them. I do however, have my eyelashes tinted and that seems to be alright (no eyelash loss).

I tried the just for men product and for whatever reason, never used it again. Truly don’t remember what the issue was. Recently purchased an eyebrow tint suggested somewhere online. Worked well!

I’m so glad you found something that works for you 😁💙 I think sometimes people get too dark a color with the JFM. I get light brown even though I THINK I need medium brown lol. Medium brown is WAY too dark and I look ridiculous for about 36 hours 🤣 Light brown is 💋

Happy Saturday Penny! I've been tinting my eyebrows at home for years and I really don't have to do anything else to them. I also get them shaped very infrequently but enough to keep them looking good. I don't use that brand. I bought mine off of you tube and it's called RefectoCil. I love it. Thanks for sharing this with people because it helps so much. Do you know where you got your moon necklace?

@@PENNSMITHSKINCARE I'm surprised you don't still use it. It's very inexpensive and lasts a long time. Comes with a little mixing cup. It's great!
