Hey uh the mod at 3:19 Dragon Kingdom, I installed and have the updated version and when I select it and go into single player I can’t find a single dragon anywhere. I’m looking in the spots that Kami mentioned they can be but there’s none, i had a look at scorched earth and found about 4-5 of them flying far apart from each other but hardly any ancient ones.
@@Alastors_biggest_fan Hmm, Have you tried dino wiping at all? Try using a dino finder mod like 'Der Dino Finder' also, that helped alot for me when searching for the Dragons!
11:11 Upfromthedepths are still working on mods, they even are coming out with paleo versions of the brontosaurus, parasaur, mosasaurus and are working on a Scorched Earth replacement for the Rex, the Tarbosaurus. Which is gonna be smaller than its more famous relative.

It's just fun to make mods, that's why i was drawn to this as a hobby. The ability to do and express so much creativity is just really fun to me, everything else is a bonus. Thanks for the showcase, it's great to see the creativity in this community.

I saw a similar vid to this a few weeks ago, but he didn't even showcase half the creatures abilities, just said...yeah this is 'dope' all the time! 23:47 in fact the vectispinus ability also works with the suchumimus from Additional Creatures: Wild Ark the buffo also applies to this dino which surprised me when I tried it and I thought it was great.
Thanks for another great video, brother! I am usually not a fan of modded creatures, as they tend to be way overpowered or low quality, but i must admit, there are a few on here that definitely have me interested. Im also with you on the giga and carchar. They are way too big and powerful, in my opinion. Not only does the over-scaling look ridiculous, but it killed the balance of the game. My servers had them removed for the longest time. With some of the tlcs and new creatures added, I use them again, but the size still kills me. Much love, brother.

Moro’s Notho was a real dream come true and I adore the Indomitable Duo. I really wanted the Notho during the days of the creature votes so to get one for free with an incredible ability and actually super simple to tame? Moro is easily one of my favorite modders in the community!
Awesome spotlight sir. I found quite a few new creatures I want to try out on my next play though. I don’t know if I can pick a favorite. Definitely downloading the jumping spider and the gecko though 😀 Also, I am sure you already know this, and only had so much time for each creature, but I figured I would share a few things since I did a full review on 1 of the creatures. There is a bit more to the archelon. The algae by itself can be fed to herbivores to tame them. It’s basically their version of mutton. Then if you leave them in the water it will generate that algea twice as fast as you leaving them on land. Also, Increasing their food stat increases the total amount of algae generated. They basically guarantee a perfect kibble level tame every time. Say you feed a theri crops and didn’t have kibble, well then just feed them an algae sushi after the taming drops a few points and it will recover about 6-7% taming effectiveness. You can use more than 1 per creature, it just has 5 minute cooldown. Overall It makes some of the more tedious tames a lot more manageable.

@@BEYPlaysGames they always are 😀 I believe that was changed with the tlc. And then another Ark RU-vidr by the name of DarkEdgeTV was actually the one who made the saddle. I just found that out yesterday. I am sure if you had everything for every creature it would have been a massive video, 1 hour+ lol. There was so many great creatures and full spotlights can be 5-15 minutes a piece, which is usually hours of testing for just the 1 creature 😂

I would also add for the owl griffin mod, owl griffins are able to combine their sprint dive with a well timed attack (RT, R2, left click) to deal a massive amount of dive bomb damage. I learned this yesterday.
That's been a thing with Griffins since they were released in ASE btw, it's always been better than the standard Griffin bomb when just hitting the floor :)
the Paleo additions mod is actively being updated with a ton of creatures, ones that don't even overhaul the old ones, but instead add new creatures entirely.
A really nice selection of modded creatures. For some reason I also expected the S-Dino Variants from nekatus since... they add glowy dinos and the best thing of all the Maewing but I guess just didnt make the cut. The Meraxes can also turn on a permanent healing buff at the cost of food. Just thought id add that info.

Great vid. Thanks for the work. Would you perhaps have encountered modded creatures that serve as early passive tames? Using Prehistoric mod for the Tsintsasaurus (?). Like it because its an easy early tame right at the start, no narcos just berries. Curious if there are other ones?

Every time I see Monolophosaurus and Edestus, I always think of Schmitto. He is one of my favorite modders. It’s truly unfortunate what he has had to go through, including financial issues with Dragonheart and problems with some Ark players. Although I don’t know all the details about what happened (such as being discredited and not valued), these issues have had a significant impact on his mental health and have led to a loss of motivation to continue working on the game. I hope that he can face these problems and find a solution someday, and I also hope that he will return to create content for Ark again in the future. He had plans to create over ten new creatures.❤😊😢
I heard about the issues, but yeah I don't know what really happened and it's very unfortunate, I also love Schmitto's mods and also hope he returns to modding at some point!
A wonderful showcase. I didnt even know about the Hatzegopteryx and I love the quetzal. Premium mod looked good but I refuse to support a terrible practice.
The Carcha mod is so good btw! It is what the official Carcha SHOULD have been, now give me a small version of the Paleo Giga and i will feel like I’ve won the lottery.

I just downloaded a mod that adds a flame horn, a fire version of the shine horn, and it's incredibly strong for a shoulder pet but sadly it doesn't work with the SCS storage game crashes upon sending it out, at least for me it does anyway
I have the Glaucus and Diaman Both are fucking phenomenal mods and just super useful One is essential a water lighting wyvern but better The other is a better bronto thats just insane with harvesting
I do agree, I don't usually play with mods for the most part, love the creatures but a lot of them I can't bring myself to use because of how strong they are 🤣

Yeah definitely not super high effort and I had to remove the mods because of some of the overspawning but there are a few creatures I really like from them. Dearc being my favorite derpy little flyer. 😂
Hard to tell really as I haven't played with the mods too much in depth, they do seem very strong though, I was very surprised to see the Rex enter the boss fight! And I did install the mod on a rented server and for me they rarely spawned in the wild but I've heard from others that the spawns can get a little crazy!
Idk if it’s just me but having the Parrot mod active was buggy i would hear random ladies giggling and screaming then would hear random parrot noises when im literally nowhere near one along with so many other random noises when i removed it then it stopped

@@thekingofgames20 Well i'm not part of their discord server or anything so probably don't have the best info but the mod has had the Giga and Rex since its release, it's been stated that the Tarbosaurus and many other paleo variants will be coming in the future but still there's nothing new. Unless you know something I don't? lol

@@BEYPlaysGames yeah, I was kind of mad they got into Asa cause I fought a group of them with a 150 Rex and the highest level deino was only 56 yet they still melted my poor rex
