My onsite More Than Music Workshops are always much more effective when I instruct in partnership with an audio/tech professional. One of my favourite guys to teach alongside is Dave Wright, author of the book Sound In The Gospel (soundinthegospel.com), former FOH audio tech for Matt Pappa, vastly experienced (including staff tech positions with churches) and all 'round great guy.
Dave and I agree that, while in-ear monitors (or IEMs) can be a great help in many situations, they can create some potential problems. In this video we chat about problems that may arise and offer some advice.
