Thanks for sharing! I’m glad we have some freedom now! I’m so happy to have had fresh air hahah. Hopefully they don’t lock us down again anytime soon. Sending love!💕
Thanks for sharing the lockdown detail. Although I am not in Shanghai, we care about situation there, there are not enough info online, lots of voice was silenced. Stay strong and send Love from China.
85% of all teachers are considering to level China. This will INCREASE the salaries for the teachers leftover. You figure in 2 years (2020-2022) 24 months, a primary teacher has only worked 12 months and every time you get head, they shut down and no more salaries but the rent and cost keep going.
There are positives and negative, yes salaries tend to increase but often times schools won't pay teachers if they can't get in the classroom. It's a combination of luck and finding the right company with multiple income streams. Overall, even with a salary increase next year I would be making around the same over the same period of time, just more sporadically.
The Omicron BA2.12 variant does seem to have some ability to survive long enough on certain kinds of packaging to facilitate spread to some degree. In addition, the ductwork and other pipes in older residential buildings in Shanghai that run between floors are not sufficiently isolated or sealed, so virus-filled air can migrate between apartments on different floors. This may explain why people living in an apartment on one floor become infected from people living in an apartment one floor above, or one floor below, them. Even if all of the people in question have never left their apartments.
Hi, nice video you have made! For me its now day 64 the lockdown PFF very bad. days are difficult. In order to be happy and have a bit of satifaction each day I baked in these days a lot of applepies, from apples, flour, sugar, oil and east, maybe something for you to do these days? Hope you both are alright. Greetings !🇳🇱
Yes cooking has generally been the highlight of my day throughout the lockdown, however my apartment does not have an oven so I've been getting creating with just the stove! Freedom is around the corner now!
Will you be able to finally leave your apartment on Wednesday? That's when the lockdown officially ends, they said. I don't blame you if you want to leave China, this is too much for one person to handle.
Currently I am able to leave my community as we have no property management, so it's a grey area but no one is stopping me. From June 1st almost everyone should get released, however it will be a soft opening i.e restaurants/schools will take longer to reopen.
@@LouAimeeinChina No lady, you just love living in Shanghai. I don't know if you have been to other parts of China. But I can guarantee that Shanghai is a special case of China.
@@大和谐 Yes I've been to and lived in other places in China, right now many people including locals are still dealing with the negative fallout of this lockdown (day 61 today) and therefore are expressing their opinion. I'm sure with time many people's memories will fade and we can focus on the positives again :)
@@LouAimeeinChina Your view is optimistic. China is changing course. More than tow months of Shanghai's lockdown presage China's future direction. Neither China nor the world can go back to the past.
