Line Infantry combats in 18th and 19th century, while not really bloody, were for sure really scary (eventually it got bloody near the end of 19th century I think, except the bayonet charges of course, melee is always bloody) Now imagine that with Warhammer weapons...
Question - Could the tyranid swarm which was consumed by chaos above Baal be spitted out somewhere else? Would they be plagued by ruinous powers or just stay savage with primal instincts due to severed connection with the Hive Mind?
i hadn't expected much out of the imperial gaurd from what i'd heard but i'm glad to admit that they have a lot more cool lore and diversity than i had been expecting keep it coming
4:23 Never knew there were Guard regiments that still used flintlock muskets in the 41st millennium. I guess the recession hit the Imperium of Man harder than we thought. ;-)
"The Valhallan Imperial Guard Regiment": The Valhallan Ice Warriors, the first Imperial Guard Regiment mentioned by name, up there with the Arkadian Lucky Number Sevens and the Necromundan Spiders.
Suggestion: colonel schaeffer's last chancers and oh yeah, those Spellcrowe pieces would go very nicely on my Grave Apotheon chapter, who have an affinity with their planet Hellas' wild dogs.
Question: With Cadia destroyed, what will happen to the Cadian Regiments which are still fighting in other warzones, since they have no home world anymore, nor are they likely to receive any logistical support or reinforcements?
I'd assume they "borrow" recruits for other planets and train them in their own facilities at that point, similar to what the White Scars were doing during the Heresy (taking Luna Wolf supplicants).
I used to play these guys. They were the first army I played over a decade ago. My buddy used to play Tyranids, before they nerfed and I always, always lost. 😑
I also played Mordian and you always lost no matter what enemy you faced :D I even had a battery of Imperial Quad Launchers "Thudd Guns" but it didn't really help :p
question you always say in imperial guards videos that there more brave than regular guardsmen, so my question is what guard regiments are know for being cowards, also spellcrow are awesome I use them and anvil industry for my homebrew chapter
There are over a million worlds in the Imperium - ALL are required to provide soldiers to the Imperial Guard. There are dozens known to the 40K players and ALL are exceptional, as in the Imperium out of the millions of regiments, only a few hundred have risen to high enough fame to be known outside of their local sectors, let alone their individual worlds. It is to be expected that every single regiment you ever hear about that has established lore are well above the norm, that norm being 'regular' guard regiments.
Question: If a massive number of orks believes that a human has certain powers, does that man (or group) gets it. For example if a group of orcs believes that a man is a messenger of Gork and Mork and must be obeyed could it create a human arbiter in a ork world?
ok the image at 4:28 , ive seen before in a book of napoleonic uniforms, those are just prussians, but its fitting, so whatever, its just strange, ive seen that exact image
