40 Times Animals Got Scared Hilariously 

Had a Rotty who didn't like anything on the wall above his head. Someone gave me a ceramic horse head to hang on the wall. Had to remove it because my Rotty went nuts barking at it!

I must have/had broken cats over the years. None of my cats were afraid of cucumbers. If anything they loved cucumbers. They always ate them when given the chance.

Did anyone else notice the phone falling into the water after grabbing the gators tail? Lol @ 10:30

One of my cats put it’s head thru one handle of a Mylar bag where it got stuck. When it moved the rattling bag scared it. It went on a tear around the house with all its fellow cats in pursuit. They ran around the second floor then the first floor and then the basement. The noise of the stampeding cats was hysterical.

#20 was not a hyena and a leopard, it was two cats. One behind might have been another leopard, or a lioness. And it souned like it was a blast of thunder which spooked them.

I had a ferret(Houdini) who feared nothing, and attacked large dogs. The shadow of a bird flying over made him vanish for three days...

Trust me the lions was not scared.

When I had my Boxer, my bf at the time was usually clean-shaven, and I asked him to grow a goatee and moustache. Rocko kept barking at him, it hurt my bf's feelings so bad I told him "Go shave it off." 😅

Some of those animals were not scared, they were amused or just bored. The toy soldier was not marching he was low crawling that’s what we call it in the military. The DJ that let the steam out I’ve seen this video several times and it still makes me laugh.👍😁😎

I bought a small remote controlled buggy to play with it in my yard. My yellow labrador mix barks like crazy, chases it, then I chase him. My shitzu mix is afraid of it and tries to hide. My only cat I let outside just sits up on a table and watches it. In the house, my cats go crazy.

I used to get a newsletter from a vet Patricia(??) years ago. What she said made a lot more sense than the snake idea! Cats are in THEIR HOME a KNOWN and SAFE ENVIRONMENT with their guard down. Turning they find something UNEXPECTEDLY has QUIETLY come up beside them. HAVE you never walked out of a door (example bathroom) and jumped because someone was waiting right there to scare you? My hubby gave me a book for Christmas that I really wanted. So I was reading it as I made the mash potatoes. He walked by me to go to the refrigerator to get what he wanted. Walked by me again to put it on the table. He walked back to me to ask me if it was a good book. He opened his mouth and I screamed and threw the book in the air. I was SOOOO ENGROSSED in what I was doing I never knew he was by me.

Something to consider if you think startling your pet is funny. Animals regardless if they are wild or domestic, need some place where they feel safe and can relax. If you scare your pet enough it may decide to find some other location where it will feel safe. If there is something beyond your control that scares your pet, such as a thunder storm, you need to comfort them. We would get only a couple of thunderstorms a year where I was living, but if I saw the dog was scared in the laundry room I knew a thunderstorm was coming. I'd go in and she would climb into my lap. I would hold her and speak calmly to her. After doing this twice, when a thunder storm came she would come to get me and let me know she wanted to go into the laundry room. She was much to big to be a lap dog, but that didn't matter. She just didn't want to be alone. It's not that hard to be kind to your pets, and if you can't even do that, don't get any pets.

That one video of the cat drinking from a water hole says that it was scared by a hyena but it was another cat not a hyena. Hyenas don't have long tails and you can clearly see that the other animal had a long tail.

I have a bunch of cats. I feed them outside, in my garage, on a table. I can feed the cats, walk out of the garage to the mailbox, walk back into the garage, a nd that's enough to spook the cats. Years ago, I had five dogs, and a few cats. I raised the cats and dogs together. And they loved each other. At the time, I had this mama cat, Tyrona. And Tyrona had two little kittens she was in the process of teaching them how to hunt and kill, and also trying to wean them. Well, one night, I was washing dishes. All five dogs were in the kitchen. The two biggest dogs were Patches, a seventy-five pound Border Collie, and Discout, who I believed to be a cross between a black Lab and a wolf. Then there was Brandi, a boxer, German Shepherd mix. Brandi weighed around sixty pounds. There was Lucky, I believe to be a Sheltie and possible German Shepherd mix. Lucky weighed at least thirty-five pounds; maybe as much as forty-five pounds. And Sam. Sam weighed about twenty pounds. Sam was possibly a Daschund, Jack Russell cross, or a Daschund/rat terrier mix. He was a varmint dog; a little, vicious, blood thirsty killer. Well, this particular night, I was washing dishes when Tyrona brought in this huge walking stick insect. I would not be at all surprised if that walking stick was fourteen inches long. I've never seen a walking stick so big. All five dogs took one look at the walking stick and hauled ass out of the kitchen. However, the two little kittens, literally fought each other over the walking stick. They tore it to pieces and ate it. I liked to have busted a gut laughing at my dogs.

NEVER , NEVER scare a cat .... it may jump to your face , if it gets angry , which eventually is the most probable outcome. An angry cat can cause you real harm. even if it is a domestic cat you are in in very good relation with. Just a warning
