I only recently heard about the dupe glitch and while I do use it, I try to do so sparingly. For instance I'm building up my raft and need LOTS of wood, so I dupe seeds. I'm still willing to put in the effort of growing and harvesting the wood, but I need some damn seeds to grow! lol

screecher sometimes land next to you to pick up stone so you can hit him even twice :) but its rare.. bow is much easier and more chill way to do it.

I have two sails. One on the left side and one on the right, all I have to do is open either of them and my raft travels in the corresponding direction and then I close them when when im lined up with whatever I opened them for.

Well, the only rule that I break is by not using Head Lamp in Vasagatan because I have good sight when it come to darkness. Rarely I go to the bottom close to an island to see something.

I also discovered the 10th rule on my own. Before i put my stuff on the sides and the shark destroyed it all the time...

i once had 2 engines on my raft, when i removed a foundation which was at least 3 away from the foundation the engine was mounted on and replaced it with a better foundation the engine disappeared.

I started with hard mode not knowing about multiple Bruce. When he finally spawned with more it was to late. I’m not stuck with a hard world with many Bruce’s. I don’t care though i like hard lmao

on smallest animal isle you can find spot where screecher flyes for stone right next to you so spear is actualy fast and ezy kill, but just for your own small achiev.

Don't get so focused on looting the tiger shark head that you drown and it despawns.

My rule is NEVER make a raft larger than what one engine can propel... There is no need and you just burn through WAY too many resources... not only building it, but powering it. Think that is a 10x10 and you can easily make it 2 stories. That is enough to fit everything... and still have plenty of decorations. You missed a few tricks. You did not mention is you can place garden plots on top of grass and they can still use it in they can reach even a sliver of it. Sprinklers are great for grass, but not needed for other plots as you only water them when you plant them. The main one is NEVER use scarecrows they suck. Just surround you gardens with walls. I use basic walls with windows and a basic door. Then I put a palm leaf roof on it. You can not rely on rain to your crops and grass, but he birds can not touch your stuff. I also think you can not put planters on the wall as I have seen the birds glitch partially through the walls. Just put the planters on the floor. And the Chapter 3 update is out. There is 5 new heads/trophies, something like 8 recipes and 20 blueprints... YES 20!!!!!! There is also some cool things to buy and the easiest way to get titanium. You will need to catch 60 fish though, but that does not take that long. One issue I have is the recipes for the smoothie machine. Almost none of them use the fruit... pineapples, mango, or watermelon. They mostly use coconuts and beets... WHY? You also have 3 new spices used in recipes but the ONLY way to get them is to buy them from the trader. You can not grow them or forage for them EVER.
