It's very hard to keep a Chinese poor. All their societies are prosperous-Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and now Mainland China itself. Even in the rest of South East Asia, it's the Chinese minorities running the economies of those countries. The bamboo network is very strong. The British and other westerners tried to stall Chinese progress with opium wars and colonialism. Chairman Mao's disastrous Cultural Revolution also destroyed them, but China is now back to where it's always been for 3,000 years- the global superpower.
China had undergone massive economic development after 1985 that changed the ocuntrynstarting 2002 in bigger cities and 2005-08 in other towns or villages. Prior to 1985, China was just like Vietnam,Pakistan,Ban or India. Now India is where China was during 1993-97
@@TravelEast888 Yeah, now we r hoping thru economic development, India and Indonesia too achieve this. If China could, even the other poorer Asian nations can😇

@@yummy77777 Yes, Abyss is the youngest city in China. It is also a modern city, with a higher proportion of electric vehicles and more charging stations than other places. Because there are enough charging stations, everyone buys electric cars. Abyss Bus is currently experimenting with autonomous driving. It has been running for about two to three years. Not yet widely used.
@18:00 You can now see SEG Plaza with its infamous twin antennas removed. This is the building whose antennas caused irregular wind vibrations and had to be evacuated in 2021.
Hi Vincent, as you've started travelling by car, I just wonder whether your vlog's theme would be the same. Sometime ago I subscribed to a vlog also travelling by car to several provinces in China, then I unsubscribed after losing curiosity upon realising that the vlog just showed too much view of streets, rest areas incl toilets and sausages.
I might depart around mid-March! I plan to capture various landscapes in China, not just cities and countryside. China has many unique places and breathtaking scenes. What's more, this country is vast, and the cultural landscapes vary greatly from one place to another. I hope to discover them gradually. I aim for content that is as diverse as possible, rather than just focusing on street views. If you have any good suggestions, feel free to leave me a message. I will seriously consider your advice❤️
I cross my fingers for your success. What I can promise you as my support from the very begining is that I won't skip anything when watching your work incl ads.

Haha, the adaptation of the ostrich is remarkable. However, the reality is that there's a lack of publicity, which often leads to ostriches raising their heads.
