I used cheating to learn plenty. You can definitely learn especially at that level, by seeing obvious things pointed out at you by the engine. Sure you can say do it after the game, but it's just easier to do it during the game. I got a lot better, but it can only take you so far since a lot of engine moves are not understandable by a person.

Try playing longer games and make sure to analyse every move even if it be meaningless to do at higher levels, it is a healthy practice. Recite to yourself the advantages and disadvantages of every move, analyse your position all the time.

This really makes me want to make a channel documenting my climb out of 400-500 Elo. Learning the game correctly takes so much time I hadn’t realized. It doesn’t just click. You really need to learn all the deep skills and tactics to play this game at a higher level. I want to illustrate that with proper training, you can and will get better.
