Another Yank here in way out west Southern Oregon. I currently have a 1963 MGB, my 7th, maybe 8th MG since 1964. I have owned 30 Brit cars My first was a 1953 MG TD Mark II. I have owned a total of 130 cars and trucks.. my current MGB is #130.
@@jeffhildreth9244 wow. I don't even come close lol. I had 7 Alfa Romeos, gave up on em when they all tried to dissolve in the rain like fizzy tablets 🙄. my 72 GT is rust free 🙏, just a wee bit more durable than Italian stuff 😁
@@forestghost7 Among them 1946 MG TC full race prepped, cross flow head, 15" Borani Wheels, Alfin brakes, Custom exhaust, wild engine I mean wild. 1950 MG TD built for Bonneville 1953 MG TD Mk II.. my first car bought in 1965 1956 MGA in which I stuffed a 3 main MGB motor 1969 MGC GT bought in 1970 1964 MGB sold 2 years ago, I miss that car, Iris Blue rust free. Currently 63 B 4 Thames Vans 5 Land Rovers 58 to 74 including an NADA one of 500. 1980 SDI Rover 3500 V8 6 Morris Minors including 51 convertible 1954 Morris Oxford 1959/60 Morris Oxford 1959/60 Fairthorpe Electron Climax.. one of 21 and the only left hand drive sent to the US 58 Bug Eye Sprite in which I stuffed a 1275 and the works. a few others.
Thanks for your comment - I don't think it's weird - I like the "rubber" bumper look as well... it was a shame that the rubber bumper update also coincided with a ride height increase that damaged the handling, and increased emission controls (in the US) which hit performance...
