This is the second video in a series of three that I am making I do apologize for the quality I am working on getting some better recording equipment for future videos and my video making skills are very poor at the moment but im improving them as I do more recording thank you for watching

How did the final product work out please? Did you have any issues with swr as 50 ohms is just the dc resistance . How did the wirewound components work. Did you have to deal with any impedance issues. Hope it worked out for you in the end.

It was a fail major inductance caused by the wire wound resistors was not resonate on any frequency

That golden resistors are wire-wound and frequency range is up to 100KHz only. Bad idea for a dummy load.

figured that out and I think I posted an update I purchased them of ebay and the add stated could be used for dummy load but it was dc dummy load not rf learned somthing new thanks for the comment

Just using what I had on hand any way the inductance of the wire wound resistors is way to high to use as a dummy load im going to start over with the correct resistors and redo the videos as a correction

Get it I promise you won't be disappointed study for the general at the same time if you can manage with tech and general are 35 questions and general opens up a whole world wide experience tech class lets you get on 10 meters which is pretty good during the day

@@theuglyoffgrid5368 I am definitely going to try for both the same day but as long as I get the technician I will be stoked. I never been good with test and if I have to go back the next month to get the general I will be the first one at the testing site.

Not really for voltage but RF and this design did not work I haven't posted an update yet but I ran into some issues with inductance as these resistors are wire wound and I did not know that
