My gosh. I didn't think this video would get over 1.5K views so fast. Guess a lot of people feel nostalgic about it. Thanks everyone! I do hope you've enjoyed this video. Edit: Way over 1.5K now. Guess I should expect it to get even more views lol. Thanks. 🤍
Or what if 🗿 just sits down in the middle of the village and doesn't move or even flinch in response to anything for 9 years straight then suddenly gets up one random day.
I think its so funny how this gentle giant gave the humans food and existed completely immobile on their village for decades, just for the humans to still be scared of him
Doing that would mean waiting exactly 3 real life months for a season to pass in game for a total of 400 years, that being the case if I wasn't going to stop the calamity. If I did plan to stop the calamity it would not be the full 400. I'd likely be dead way before the 400 year point. Plus my current PC would destroy itself if it tried handling a 400 year long recording. So doing a 400 year long playthrough of this game isn't physically possible.
The idea of stumbling upon just this immobile stone face standing by a cliff for years and years, before one day he just gets up and continues walking is beautiful.
If it were just a normal clog then yes, pressure would eventually become a problem. But who knows, maybe here this ancient stone man is doing a lot more than just clogging it and we just don't know. But in theory the volcano would be forced to release its pressure.
@@pivotstoryanimatorxx we will never know for sure. i played this game long ago, i also remember a old flash game that had 5 worlds. and was a 2D platformer and collections stuff. exploring your house, neighboorhood\sewers, park\caves, work with even a abadoned\haunted floor in the skyscraper, and collecting stuff like flowers, jewelery and chocolates for a date, but i forogot what the game is called
Stone man helped human society thrive with small actions and time. Eventually find his resting place plugging a volcano and ultimately saving this human society from suffering. Lesson learned: Plant seeds in the right places and with enough time you will leave your mark on the World. People may not remember but your actions will take life and physical form(You were there)
Whats makes the stone so kind is that for him waiting 20 years is literally nothing, but still takes the time to value such fragile and short lifes as humans compare to himself
You know, we never know who the traveler between worlds was. Did they also sacrifice themselves for the world? I assume that someone made this grave for the traveler in order for the traveler to be remembered, but that begs the question as to what it was: What did they do that made the creator of this grave want to keep their memory? Was it something they did for them, was it something they did for a city, or was it something they did for the world? And why so far from a place of civilization? Were they the only one that remembered? So many questions, and I would be glad to hear people's theories about this because it's so intriguing
I think it may be a hint about the outcome of their one of their other games, A Small Talk at the Back of Beyond. No spoilers. Go play it it is also amazing
Gotta love getting this recommended, feeling nostalgic and clicking on it, only to realize the video is from 9 days ago with 139K people doing the same as me, and even more to come :) This comment section is actually so wholesome, with lots of interesting stories and facts i never heard of
I mean it, this game is a masterpiece. It's not that deep, not too much of a context, no dialogues, you simply join whatever that walking moai statue is supposed to be in a peaceful journey. An unpredictable ending, and yet not having long explanations, fate gets clearer the more you keep going. How can a game have such a good narrative in such short amount of time, just a few 400 years? A truly valuable experience.
I like the simple implication in the end (spoilers) That the stone man(?) did indeed stop the calamity and humanity continued to develop With simply showing a modern airplane in the air, nothing more
I still can't believe that people not only thought that flash websites would just accept their faith and die without finding alternatives, but that years later, most people still think flash games are gone. I see these comments of people mourning a game or a site, and I yell at them "HAVE YOU EVER DOUBLE CHECKED YOU DOOFUS".
This walking statue is the reason why I'm working on a job that i don't even like to pay my taxes. Edit:why y'all talking this seriously dude this is a joke I don't do taxes I'm not old enough and my life is still Doing very well 💀
@@accurategamer7085 How is it "good" that I get to live a stressful life? Who cares if humanity vanished if he didn't stop the lava. What "good" did we do to this world? Murdering billions of animals every year? Destroying millions of trees? Suffering from millions of diseases? Grieving for our loved one's passing? Experiencing natural disasters? There's more unfairness than fairness in this world, objectively speaking. Let's be more specific. The best feeling I get in a day is when I laugh out loud. That lasts for maybe FIVE minutes max. If I accidentally hit a vehicle while driving and break bones and get road rash, it will take YEARS for all of it to heal. How about a cold? How long does a cold last compared to being joyful because you've purchased a property or being neutral? No matter how many excuses you give out, this world objectively has more suffering compared to good. And no, bad doesn't need to exist in order to experience good, because *neutrality* exists. I can be neutral and experience a rush of happiness. That argument people throw out is incorrect.
Ooh, I think I've actually seen a similar game with a monk? To overcome obstacles he could sit and wait for time to pass, and also reincarnate as different animals/creatures which had different abilities! It was really cool
You could always try your hand at the game again. Though flash is "dead", there are still some ways to access your favorite flash games. What I mainly use is Flashpoint.
Dude seeing a gameplay of this game after so long just hit me with whiplash, I always missed this type of stuff from games back then and seeing this playthrough makes me just get a massive sense of nostalgia.
I love He spends many years after he'd planted grains and He has been watching it grow... And people may say.. He is a Saviour of us, Just stands there
i always remembered this game for its art style and i could never remember who made it, but seeing the art style now again it's pretty clear it's a game from Scriptwelder
