When i was a kid i did the same thing with all that sand stuff in em. I think i only used 2 boxes, but i used a ziplock bag corner. Twisted it tight, then a knot. Threw it hard, and my ears were ringing for a couple of minutes👍
Once upon a time, I took half a case of Snaps, spent an hour or so and emptied them into a large medicine bottle. I was working in a warehouse on a picker about40 feet up on the top shelf. Dropped the plastic bottle to the ground, and it literally blew a 4 inch chunk of concrete away!!! Looking back, it didn't occur to me that I had basically made a contact grenade. Thank god it didn't blow up in my face! 5 ounces of fulminated mercury is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, on a scale with Nitroglycerin!

I used to get like 20 boxes of those and unwrap them into a big piece of tissue paper to make a giant party popper. One time i made the mistake of doing that in my house and i accidentally squeezed it too hard while wrapping it and it exploded. My mom was furious because every one in the house was still sleeping. I was lucky to still have my hands.
