4000k is my favorite. I dislike anything above 5000k. 3000 or lower in intimate spaces/lamps.

5000K best, looks like sunlight color and white. At night I looked at the floor and thought it was day time but it was night outside. Cool, it matched the sun's light color in the daytime.
