The fact Skitarii don't have hysparists is dumb it's canonically their main infantry unit. I get that it would just be guardsmen with extra bits but like.... seriously HOW Rangers and vanguard are supposed to be specialist infantry. ...and this is without touching Cult mechanicus or EVEN Legio cybernetica...legio cybernetica is 2 models (in the same box) as far as I know.

There all ready is a plastic Death Cult Assassin and Crusader, but they are locked in a board game right now.

No mention of Catchans? I stopped collecting in the early 2000's & came back to it nearly 20 years later - still the same crappy models on sale!

Honestly after everything that has happened with orks, I'm convinced that anything in the index but not on the webstore will be removed from the codex. GW's excuse about "rotations" was just a way to take them off the store without people panicking. For things that are finecast but still available, I'd say it's a 1/3 chance between being wiped, getting an updated model, or staying around. Crusaders and DCAs would make a pretty good kill team, and they've always been relatively popular in SoB armies, even before secondary objectives existed. Also the grey knight apothecary exists, it's a part of the grey knight terminator/paladin kit. For the chaplain like with the librarian, captains, and grandmasters, you're either meant to use the equivalent terminator with grey knight shoulder pads, or convert them from the terminator/paladin kit as most grey knight players always have done. It's not that they don't exist, it's just that they aren't listed on the webstore specifically as grey knights, but that is the same for the other non-codex chapters.

Ether Dark Eldar are getting a range refresh, or they're losing a bunch of units when their Codex drops. I'd have assumed the former, but after what happened to AoS, it wouldn't surprised me if that Dark Eldar players get screwed over for GWs bottom line.

Small correction, you flip flopped Lieutenant and Captain. Vanguard Task Force has the Phobos Lieutenant, and he's just like the Suppressors. It's the only box he's in.

My friend plays tyranids, so I can confirm that they won’t care that they have to buy more hormagaunts or termagaunts to get more rippers. They always can use another few for their next horde meme list.

It’s annoying the supressors are exclusive to that one big box. I don’t see why they can’t just put those models on a separate sprue like they did with that Darktide box or the minis of the month.

I started way back at the end of 2nd ed. LOTS of models were missing. 3rd got the Land Raider, but plenty of other models like the Battlewagon were still missing. The solution is generally kitbashing or modifying existing models. Sometimes you can buy an older model second hand, as well.

Everything needs new models SoB, SoS, GSC, LoV, GK, Daemons. The question is how many editions do we have to wait.

We just want our Phoenix Lords GW.. :(

I can see servitors moved to Agents of the Imperium, as they canonically join any imperial army as support.

I will never understand why the suppressor doesn’t get it’s own box. They were released in the Shadowspear box iirc with the new CSM sculpts, that was 5 years ago and they just keep moving them to new bundle boxes. It’s so weird

For like two years I’ve wanted suppressors but the issue is that I didn’t like the combat patrol or the vanguard pack. I just wanted them on there own, now sure I could buy them on eBay but they are very monopose so I’m gonna keep praying to Mr James workshop he blesses us with a multipart suppressor kit

I think the thing that’s weird about things like crusaders, death cult assassins and servitors is that there’s plastic sculpts for all of them. GW just need to whip up some sprues like they did for the Dark Tide board game and bring a lot of the black stone fortress stuff out independently. Also, it’s the Lieutenant in Phobos armour that’s exclusive to the box with the suppressors, the Captain has always been available solo. Edit: Death Guard are sorely in need of a range cleanup. They are still using starter box stuff for a lot of units. Want a Lord of Contagion? You’ve either got to buy Felthus and get a push fit LoC on the wrong base size with three random terminators also tagging along. Or track down the Conquest magazine issue he was in and get a bunch of marines and a drone along with the LoC (not the worst though). Then you need to buy a Noxious Blightbringer, Malignant Plaguecaster and a random plague marine champ in a combo box. Lastly there’s the poxwalkers with the random plague marine body half that stumps new players every time. Just recut the starter set sprues so that everything is individually available, it’s not like they are doing big runs of dark imperium anymore the existing moulds are retired.

Extremelly valid point. About the Obliterators, you make a valid point being "secondary" units in terms of availability, but the reality is that people buys all the kits, not only the main ones, but mainly the kits that are played in tournaments. I just got my obliterators, they are played in tournaments now, so they took 3 months to arrive here in Italy, the request was so high that my shop ordered them 4 times. In the last months they where out of stock from GW website 2 times. The point is: they are selling a lot, and a proper kit would benefit them tremendously. I even guess that GW can easily box 2 of them for 50 €$£ and ppl would buy them. Other weird units: - I found it silly that the Bivore and Pyvore of the tyranids took years to have proper models. - Ork Warboss, the most important model for orks lore, has a 10+ year old model. This need a kit with 2/3 poses. - Land Raider is nearly 20 years old - Tau Vehicles, are still fine, but are 20 years old models too. - Eldar Vehicles are older than people winning tournaments with them.

i can see the problem with the Scarabs, but with the rippers, we get so many that we can not use them all. think i got around 30 ripper swarms and i can use 9 at the max as they have reduced how many you can use from 3-9 to 1-2-3 so we can use a 3rd of what we used to be able to use. remember it is 1 for each 10 Termagants or Hormagaunts, and we get lots of those, got 80 Hormagaunts and 120 Termagants, so we will quickly get way more then we can ever field.

Regarding the Servitors: Admech lost that Datasheet in their 10th Edition Codex. So it is likely that the same is going to happen when other armies get their Codex

A servitor also comes with the Inquisitorial kill team. It's a pretty good plastic sculpt and you can fairly easily change the angle of the gun arm and clamp arm, as well as choosing from heavy bolter, plasma cannon or multi-melta. The heads and claw arms from the Mechanicus Kataphron Breachers (i.e. the mini-tank guys) also fit on them.

The Grey Knight Apothecary is in the Terminator Squad set.

Servitors are a great example of a disheartening trend with GW. I love servitors, I run them as neophytes in my Irom Hands themed BT army. But more than their use as a wargame unit, they're one of those models that flesh out the world and let me hobby deeper rather than purely focusing on table top function. I want more of that. Flavor and toys to paint up and enjoy the world. For a franchise as rich as 40K, it's depressingly spartan despite how bloated some ranges are because they're hyper focused on selling stuff for game power. If I wanna build out a representation of my chapter I need servitors, astropaths, serfs, and all manner of set dressing. Even if the rules are bad, I want them. As it stands I can only use 3D prints that skirt the line of the IP

The main thing GW needs to make in plastic is Grot tanks. Not for rules, just because they are great.

Even regular units I personally want to buy, have been out of stock for MONTHS! It's really difficult to compete at high level, when you can't even get the units you need xD

What makes it worse for the Suppressors, is the Combat Patrol that was released in White Dwarf. The Combat Patrol looks fun to run, but you need Suppressors and the Vanguard Task Force box has been out of stock for a while now. Luckily for me, my local store was able to order one for me.

Druhkari deserve a range refresh, but also I kinda love that everyone comes up with their own proxies for the missing models. I will be genuinely shocked if Crusaders and Death Cult assassins are in the Sisters codex and don't just get deleted from the store.

Jay there is a 1/72 scale Millenium Falcon made by Bandai in the Perfect Grade class. Would love to see you build a Bandai model kit.

I had a friend who started Durkari a few months ago. He managed to track down a Beast Master unit. No idea how he went from barely being able to find a full photo of that unit to owning it

Bandai have this same "sprue" different parts/colours that can change depending on which release of kit you buy. Some sprues (usually the "A" sprue) is actually 3+ sub sprues molded together that again have some overlap between different kits. It's literally a modular sprue.

Not models that need to be released but I am insistent that the new Solar Aux infantry should be made available as an Imperial Knights infantry unit, Castle Guard or something but the old HH era armor they use would vibe so well with being the units the Knights send before sullying their Knights.... or the last line of defense when all Knights fall

The dark eld- drukhari have recently gotten the mandrakes in kill team, so, maybe not a long wait for fresh blood into them...

I feel this way about Cherubs and Servitor Skulls. Before last months EoB Terrain pack the 3D printing side of Cherubs has been super slim pickings so I'm glad you and your collaborators stepped up to fill that void.

Scarab could easily be home made, using your molding putty and UV resin. You only need the top half to add to the base then sprinkle the plastic GW one over top

if gw made a ten model box of crusaders I WOULD BUY THREE OF THEM! but not all at once. crusaders have gotten the rough end of the stick for ages.

Also, regarding the ripper swarms, you get two of them in the combat patrol tyranids together with the termagaunts. But, wouldn't you know it, you are not allowed to use them in combat patrol games

17:00 A solution I have seen implemented here: The Scarab Swarms are all one mold...but the rippers are not. I've seen someone get extra bases and put one lone ripper on each.

Servitors is in the inquisitor agents box, and mecanicus got some models that you can make servitors out of, and ofcourse there is the lobo ogrins for necromunda

Speaking of models that you can’t get outside of bundles, the indomitus and leviathan big boxes have those weird leftover kits (skorpekh lord, reanimator, and plasmancer/cryptothralls are only available there)

FYI there is a servitor model in the kill team inquisitorial agents box, with three weapon options.. it was also in the ashes of faith box, but good luck getting your hands on that one!!

A weird one for the next time: Cherubs. We don't technically need them, but they are useful tokens especially for Sisters players and the Combat Patrol didn't come with any. You have to buy a box of infantry to get more. Would be nice if they just sold like $20/4 online.

Crusaders seem to only be unavailable in the US. About a week after this video I ordered a pair and they arrived from Nottingham to Tokyo in 3 days

Something that should be mentioned is the new Inquisition Kill Team boxset. It comes with a new multi part plastic servitor. I was pissed because I own the Finecast Crusaders (they've always been good) and they didn't get an update in the Inquisition Kill Team??? Death Cult assassins would've been good for the Inquisition Kill Team, but you can get one from the Rogue Trader Kill Team. But she's a monopose model with a Katana and poison dart mask. Kill Team is the resurgence of old models I think. Especially with the Dark Eldar Mandrakes. WOW I thought I would only ever see them in Finecast. Amazing update. I really thought the other Dark Eldar Kill Teams would be the Hand of the Archon set. With Medusa, Snake man, etc. just makes sense for a perfect Kill Team. But instead we just got a Kabalite Warriors Upgrade sprue?? Weird flex GW. So much Dark Eldar needs updates, I think we'll see a ton more of Dark Eldar in Kill Team.

I need to finish my grey knight armory but I have only been buying the old metal models. I then polish the white metal and gloss coat them and paint the accessories and eyes.

It could be cool to have some more World Eaters units

16:40 for the necron scarabs honestly if you somehow want more scarabs but no warriors you could just ask anyone who had the tesseract vault kit if they kept the extra tiny scarabs around and ask for them, they’re so many and you just need to 40mm bases and you’d make 5 or 6 easy

I do miss the old blister pack days where you could just buy 1 or 2 figures. As for trimming out models from the game, I guess that would be okay as long as Legends support continues in future editions. I have old models I still wanna use in casual games.

Can admech even take regular servitors, anymore?

really hope severitors get a multipart plastic kit at some point the ones that were with the new grimaldus miniature that came out a while ago look wonderful

there's a better way to get those Ripper Swarms. if you go to Target and buy Space Marine the Board Game it comes with one completely unique Lieutenant Titus figure which you could probably sell if you don't want but it also comes with 20 Termagants and 2 Ripper Swarms and the whole box costs about $40 which is the cost of a single normal box of 10 Termagants and one Ripper Swarm. the only thing you miss out on is the runner of extra weapons for the termagants.

Love finding old metal servitors, but kitbashing Necromunda Goliath units and Ad Mech works fine.

You get a servitor with a multimelta or plasma in the Inquisitor henchmen box :)

As a Salamanders player I would really like vulkan he'stan to get updated and for brayarth ashmantle to get a overhaul and come back, over time it feels like we have just lost things and gained nothing back

I always thought the crusaders where some kind of old grey knights minis that where there before grey knight got a proper army. I'm surprised they're just regular dudes in knight armor.

Like say a box or two, with all the old Rhino upgrade parts. This so you can use them on say, the Hover-Rhino or so.

There was a plastic crusader in the OG combat arena board game from Barnes & Noble but I think that is out of print.

Pretty sure servitors have been removed in the sm codex when it came out so expect the same for the other armies

im still salty that GW updated the tau XV8 suits back in 2016, and they didnt take the opportunity to make the knees and elbows poseable it would have been so easy too, some simple round male/female sockets the smallest tau suit that has propper possibility, is the coldstar/enforcer

GW definitely needs to do some fine tuning with their 40k line up. They need to get back to selling all units in their own kits. Maybe bring back blisters? They're so addicted to putting models behind paywalls like box sets, for the sake of FOMO and profits. It's a disservice to the customers.

I so want two units of 3 suppressor's and three units of 2 Firestrike Servo Turrets for some long range fire support in Salamanders.

Court of the Archon is by far my favorite set of units. I don't play Drukhari but this would be the first thing I would get, IF IT EXISTED

Suppressors are 100% a Chicken and Egg scenario. People would buy them more if they were available like Inceptors
