@@dueinuremom5082 it would have to be a mod made by fans to work. Doom2 with brutal doom as a base would be a pretty good foundation for a gritty retro styled sly marbo game imho. You can have the hub world be a inquisition agent researching about sly looking over archive data terminals to read about "play" various campaigns sly marbo took part in. and there is enough content lore wise about where sly marbo fought to have at least 30-40 maps from the get go not including all the possible custom fan made campaigns and missions.

I just ignore the sequels. The first was an anti-war masterclass. The whole point was that John Rambo goes to great effort not to kill anyone in the entire movie, only coming close at the end with the main antagonist, but ultimately sparing him. Then somehow the sequels turn into action porn with massive body counts? What the hell lol

"9th" edition sucked without a codex, (have yet to play with the recently released codex, it is a bitter pill to swallow when it was released 6 weeks before the announcement of the new edition). I have hopes that Sly Marbo can return, especially now the harlequins/solitare have gotten 86ed. I absolutely love the moment the game turns into John Wick. 8th edition with the solitaire was funny when I got the guy to attack 30+ times in a turn.
