Gotta say, the Dark Mechanicum probably came out the worst out of the Heresy. They got literally none of the things they bargained for. Now they uh........ help maintain Daemon engines. Which is as far from _knowledge_ as possible.
it seems strange that masters of AI intelligences and robot crafting would end up making demon engines instead of robot swarms. If they could develop tech freely they should have reverse engineered necron tech. something that some parts of the Mechanicum have accomplished making standard use of phase weapons.
@@genericscout5408 Well tbf "standard" use of phase weapons is a bit much. They have phase swords which are pieces of necrodermis they found out how to turn "on". Reverse engineer is a bit much. But yeah. Also sheesh that's one old comment.
Aide from the small stories in 30k I wish there was more lore about the dark mechanicum I mean when you think about it, their job gets done by either warpsmiths or dark apostles so what is there for them to do? The soul forge was already a thing before them so it's not like chaos needed someone to stuck daemons on shit
The Dark Mechanicus seems more interested playing with daemons than in new real tech. I do wonder why the Emperor forbade use of the Vault of Moravec (who was Moravec?) rather than simply destroying it.
Imagine going to a chaos forge world and seeing a titan slowly stomping its way to a maintenance bay it’s body mixed with demonic organic matter and titan metal and wires it’s head once meant to house a crew now has its own brain and a single demon eye that would be scary to bare witness too
Ahh nothing like sitting back with a good coffee and a new Tactica Imperialis video. On a side note this brings up one of the few redeeming qualities of the Tau, they are one of only factions in 40K that don't refuse to advance and alter their tech because of superstition.
Last month I decided to volunteer to serve on the Council of Guilliman since Roboute Guilliman is the leader of the High Lords of the Terra and the Imperium. I volunteer to become Master of the Administration. Protecting the imperium empire from the forces of chaos is not easy. I need advice on how I can lead the Council of Guilliman against the forces of chaos. The forces of chaos as we speak are the greatest threat in the galaxy, and when is the other loyalist primarchs going to return since I am going to need their help on defeating the forces of chaos.
Can it be that the Forgeworlds are in fact led by a Heretek Daemon Prince of Undivided, like other Daemon worlds? After all, the Dark Gods probably like these guys a lot
SSVjoker If GW wasn’t hellbent on eradicating Chaos Undivided then I’d say probably. Who knows maybe the Dark Mechanicum crested their own small chaos god due to worshipping the Ommnisiah without considering it the Emperor.
Just as a heads up, despite still being subscribed to you, this didn't show up in my subscription feed. I only found it by looking for a past video of yours for reference.
Ah I see - well, I suppose these things happen from time to time and looking at the analytics it hasn't hit the video too hard. Thank you for letting me know, if you really want to make sure you always catch it then you can hit that bell button, or just check the channel from 3pm UK on Saturdays since 40k Stories always goes live at that time.
I've considered it, but finding enough music to cover 20-40 minutes of video whilst being appropriate to theme is not always easy. Plus for "fluff" reasons, these are equivalent to logs from a character, so why would music be involved - it's not really an excuse, but it makes sense in a way.
yeah makes sense from the characters perspective, and sadly there isn't a huge supply of good non-copyright music that would fit the theme for these logs
You know I think the Mechanicus got the better end of the deal since the Emperor allowed them to retain and expand their heretical religion instead of blotting them from the face of the galaxy.
But by the same token, without the Mechanicum it is possible the Imperium would never have been able to expand and hunt down said heretical Mechanicum. Kind of a double-edged sword, as they may not have been able to retrofit or construct the same tech Mars could.
Brett Hazelton the God Emperor could have just destroyed them, and reverse engineered their stuff. It would have taken far longer but that's the price you gotta pay when dealing with heretical bs
