My best run so far is 0 bosses and 41 hits. Took a long time but I'm proud of it.

This video was structured very well I must say. Putting a bloopers cut at the start to show just how difficult the game really is, then proceeding to explain how many bosses there actually was, even comparing it to the other games, and then, making a win montage, and putting music behind it to show the viewer that those were the easy bosses, and afterwards proceeding to cut off the music to show the serious stuff. Great video Otz, really good work.

So sad but this was an excellent video. Probably one of your better ones ds2 related, it shows your love for this game despite how bullshit can be sometimes. Great work, Otz!

I don't remember the last time i was this captivated by watching a youtube video. You are the only one who made it this far. Who knows, maybe you started something here.

what if you wanted to do a ds2 all bosses run without taking damage but god said Invaded by Dark Spirit Forlorn!

Yeah sex is great but have you ever watched Otzdarva kill every boss (almost) in dark souls 2 without getting hit?

In other news, chaos erupts among the streets of the comment section as the crowds of thousands awaiting the streamer’s triumphant return rally and cheer to his success. Can we get From Software to fund the creation of the dark souls 2 throne and the dlc crown and have Hidetaka Miyazaki shake his hand after it's delivered to Otzdarva when he does this? He deserves the truest ending possible for this run.

That's how the game really is... Perhaps you've seen it, maybe in a dream. A murky, forgotten land...

I come to this video and the sequel every so often because they are, to me, the best RU-vid videos I've ever seen in my life. Without exaggeration. The way you can tell a story without excessive narration is really amazing. Its almost as immersive as Dark Souls storytelling itself; you don't need to explain much, just show what you're doing. All you need to do is present context and storytell through action, and maybe have some supplementary narration here and there. The editing is also just so well paced. Genuinely amazing pacing throughout the two videos. It really feels like a proper story with actual stakes involved and the way you draw the viewer in is really great too. For gods sakes, I showed my friends this series and they know nothing about Dark Souls at all, and they were invested the whole way through. Its a testament to your storytelling technique, really. That, and the high quality, non-brain rotten edits just make the video timeless. The way you choose the clips is also just... beyond genius. I don't know how you sift through THAT AMOUNT of footage and come out of it with a coherent storyline. Its really, really good. I know as a creator it feels like in retrospect, past videos suck ass, but this has and always will be a banger video, until I die I can swear on that. It affected my own style of making videos and streaming and genuinely shaped how I see making content until this day. Just came here to say that.

I just went and sank about a good 55 hours into DS2 to collect all the items and see all the content, all on a regular NG run and using aesthetics in just a few spots. The fact that you got to bosses and killed them with not hits when the areas BEFORE the bossess themselves did a number on me shows me you're seriously up there, my dude. As far as I'm concerned, you've already accomplished more than anyone else who attempted this did.

The fact that you failed one hit away from victory is poetic, and against the Ivory King of all bosses.

This is by far the best Dark Souls 2 video in existence, but I guess Otz still gets hauted by the Forlon in his dreams sometimes.

I was there for some of the last run and the last boss. You have the will of a mad man. Even though you didnt technically win you did with all your fans because of it. You are an amazing gamer great content creator and a very great guy.

As someone who regularly plays ds2, I always come back to these videos just for the sheer dedication this man put in to end up doing this

Lets be real. We all know he's gonna rest up for a few months, maybe closer to a year... then one stream. It'll just start without him telling us anything. We're all gonna get there.
