"It's not my fault the dudes I summoned kept killing people. Or that my harmless hexes went off. Or that my moth outfit is so gaudy it gave everyone cancer."
Pacifism can still cause harm. Like the people protesting by blocking streets nonviolently (Yes, I know there are people attacking motorists too, but that's not the point). The people blocking streets are causing harm by blocking the access of goods and services, which has no doubt killed people due to lack of necessary medication and treatments. You can be a pacifist and still kill people nonviolently.
@@AmadisLFE he is saying that only in a ymfah video would that advice be given since you wanna be full health before casting healing spells on phantoms in the case of this rum
It feels so strange to come back to this video and discover that the beginning song (powerwolf - army of the night) has been muted. This video has been the reason why i discovered that music band. Heck, i even bought their CDs The copyright claims are absolute bullshit and they only harm the artists themselves.
Unfortunately, it’s prolly their publishers working through YT’s god awful system And as you said, it completely hampers their ability to actually be creatively used and well, heard Music industry is hell
Catch me feelin emotional over one of those frog knights surviving to the end of the battle with the Burnt Ivory King. His three comrades sacrificing to seal the portals, while he survives to deal with his old king. To the point of being the one to deal the final blow. They could not have done it without you, you did not attack, but you saved them, you gathered them, you kept them save and healthy and supported them. And they achieved victory.
And he later lives to become Gundyr. Yes I'm not kidding, proofs being you can find ds3 gundyr's chain in the loyce castle, and one of the loyce knight's halberd looks exactly like gundyr's halberd. Even more that Gundyr's helm has a human face shape design and it says: "Modeled after a former king", you know who has a man face shape helm? Ivory king, even Ivory king's helm says that: "The Knights of Loyce dutifully followed suit". Further proofs that Gundyr was one of the loyce knights.
@@windflier1684they’re literally not the same person. The reason ds3 has all those things is because the game is a very lazy copy and paste of the other games, forcing in items and weapons from previous games for cheap fan service even if it makes no sense in lore. Gundyr wasn’t a loyce knight, Miyazaki is just a lazy developer
"I fear not the man who has done dark souls pacifist without killing 1000 npcs, I fear the man who has done dark souls pacifist a thousand times 'accidentally' killing npcs"
They aren't hired thugs... more like those one friends who set a bad example but you sit there and let them do their thing anyways cuz you don't want them to whale on you instead.
Faith Builds only struggled after there nerf. Before there nerf faith builds had 50+ casts of lighting that did 300-500 dmg each. Faith just walked all over the game lol.
@@Lowlightt They nerfed it too hard, lightning is a joke now, and buffs are kinda meh. should have added more buffs, or increased duration, or made casting faster... something
Yknow what really sucks about parts getting muted for copyright? So many people used to comment just to ask "damn what's that bangin ass music, I wanna hear more of it"
1 and a half years ago, I watched your "how to break dark souls with twin Sellswords" video. And you know what heavenly sound I heard when I watched it? Powerwolf. I heard powerwolf. And damn I liked what I heard, so I started listening through their discography. And I couldn't get enough, so I looked for more and discovered the amazing world of power metal, the greatest music I have ever heard in my life, something that calms me down after a hard day, something that cheers me up when I am sad, and something that I would never have found if I hadn't watched that video of yours. Thank you for that ymfah :) You actually made my life a little bit better.
I started listening to metal thanks to dark souls, too. I started with Sabaton, then other power metal bands, then NWOBHM, Death Metal, Black Metal. Try the other genres too, they require a bit of getting used to but it's worth it!
I'm honestly so happy I never watched this channel before because now I get to binge the absolute daylights out of it and it's incredible so much high quality content could make a grown man cry :')
@@yahiaaymankamaly3518 my first play through of DS2 was as a faith build. I was so damn op, and I would snipe everything away with binoculars and lighning. In Sotfs I tried again and honestly I still can't find the answer as to why they made their game less fun to play.
Faith builds still destroy everything. People forget you get 2 great lightning spears per ng and infinite normal l. spears. Plus crown of iron king is bonkers op
This video is a love letter to those summons in DS2 that are without a human form you can meet somewhere in the world. Love that group of npc's that are characterised only by how well they can aid you with a boss. Shame the other two Souls games don't have these kinds of phantoms sprinkled in with the ones that are fleshed out more by quests.
Easy, just play Dark Souls 2 normally. That is going a few steps, getting ganked by a few monkies, because what could they possibly do to you, and then throw your pc out of the window.
Thanks for making the equivalent of a free movie for everyone to watch. I can't physically imagine how much work went into this masterpiece. Thanks again.
@@Gerno_ and that's a blatant lie, DS2 gives some of the best challenges and runs, people hate it because "its too easy" when DS3 is literally holding your hand the whole way through. not to mention it had the best PvP (most balanced at least) and it still has some challenges that can't be done. (namely the no damage all bosses and DLC run) IMO it's the best out of all the souls games, but we can't deny how good the game was (as it is still 100% better than DS3 anyway) i know it'll never best DS1 and/or Bloodborne/ Demon souls but it deserves it's place as a hard game in the souls series and besides from it's slow start and easier early bosses, the late game and DLC are enjoyable, has great lore and it has the CoC covonent that makes the game ng+ right in majula, so you can still have a difficult playthrough.
@@The-Omega-Blade Actually if you start with ds2, you're gonna experience a REALLY hard dark souls, people usually say that ds2 is easier than ds1 because they already have dark souls experience from 1, but if you ask anybody who started with ds2, they'll tell you that ds2 is a lot harder than ds1 on a lot of levels. People that I know who started on ds2 then went on to ds1 said that ds1 is basically a cakewalk =)), the only real challenge was getting used to the ds1 superclunk and reduced QOLs they were used to in ds2. Hell I've beaten ds1 and ds2 plenty of times, and I can say that ds2 is reasonably harder than ds1, this is NOT including exploits and easy-mode builds, because if we include them, then a zweihander build basically means that you win the game without having any actual skill (that shit can stagger beavis and butthead lol), going full havel with it makes you a god and you can no-brain kill every boss lol. I honestly don't know of a ds2 build that makes you THAT overpowered basically from the get go, since fat builds in ds2 aren't as effective. Also the CoC covenant is really good for farming, since it makes enemies respawn infinitely, also you can get a baller ring if you kill lots of invaders while in this covenant (or just spam Roy, he doesn't mind xD).
@@meyes1098 my order i played was DS2, DS1, BB then DS3 (never played Demon S) I still find DS1 the hardest due to jankier controls but that's to be expected while DS3 is just boring while i run round killing everything within seconds, DS2 gives me that middle road of challenge and fun (and BB made me a near perfect player at this point dealing with no hit bosses in ng+)
That's cool but... what about those optional bosses? Are they even possible? -Definitely Not Ornstein -Pursuer 2, Knightmare on Dog Street -Pursuer 3, Mimic's Revenge -Pursuer 4, Ultimax -Sentinel Mania, Hell in a Cell -Pursuer 5, Alone in the Dark -Big Belfry Bois -My Giant Pony, Execution is a Chariot -Smelter Demon, The Smoldering -Pursuer 6, Resurrection P -Belfry Bois 2, Miami -Ancient Big-Oof -Pursuer 7, Bride of Pursuer -Smelter Demon 2, Super Smelter God Super Smelter Blue -Lewd and Zallen, The King's pets - Robot Unicorn Attack -Pursuer 0, Ark of the Rule 63 -The Comment Section Lurker
I was wondering this too. I first noticed the DLC bosses (Gank Squad, Blue Smelter, Alonne, Lud & Zalen) and Aldia, but now that you mention it, there are several he doesn’t do.
Creepy Poney would be easy, just slam the gates and he dies by itself, kings pets you can summon 3 folk to go with you, smelter there's Lucatiel and the rest i'm too lazy to write, but some would be nearly impossible
You can summon Masterless Glencour for Ornstein, annoying to get past the knights and (if on Scholar) have him kill the Dragon but maybe doable, same goes for Ruin Sentinels if you bring Pilgrim Bellclaire who could also potentially help with any Lost Bastille Pursuers and I've also heard there are two summons for Lud and Zallen though them and Ancient Dragon are the only bosses I haven't beat so...
Ruin Pillar Men are possible to pacifist via summoning Pilgrim Belclaire and Red Eye Ring + Greatshield tanking for her (Otzdarva did it). All Pursuers can be strafed to death with the Butterfly Cancer Swimsuit poisoning them to death. Seriously, just strafe around to them to the left and only 1 attack can actually hit you. Belfry Gankgoyles follow a similar process of Ruin Bois but with Bashful Ray instead (this man is a fucking monster) Goth MLP can be beaten veeeeeeeeeeeery slowly via just wearing the Butterfly outfit and standing still in one of the wall sections for like an hour or 2 (the interval of afflicting poison is very short and the time in-between has some of the accumulated status wear off). Alternatively, you can try to bring in Bashful Ray and Ya Boi Creighton but they lack the intelligence needed to run for cover (albeit you can use them to clear out the spooky bois and the necromancers. The Evil Furnace can be done via tank + heal supporting Lucatiel (again, Otzdarva did this) Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Blue Smelter can be beaten semi-similarly to its red cousin except with the 2 available NPCs (they do shit damage but have a ton of hp. It's all about healing their asses) The Super Tiger Bros can be done with Vengarl, Abbess Feeva, and Manhunter No-Pants in a massive gank war where you get to experience what it's like to be an MMO healer in a party of idiots. Unfortunately, Wannabe Sephiroth Lurker has no NPC summons available and can't be poisoned. That edgy little shit is immune to pacifist defeat.
Seems to me that since Ymfah enjoys using glitches or otherwise breaking games, I'd guess he only cares about the stats and what the game counts, as this was same thing with with pacifist skyrim. He clearly states the criteria in description and then that's all that matters.
Hey! I was looking for this song 23:13 in the playlist but didn't find it there, so I'm leaving the name here : Ordinary Day - Great Big Sea Awesome vid! I really enjoy your playthroughs!
DID 50 MINUTES PASS? HOW DID ... WH ... WHAT!? Man, you are one of the best time waster existing on RU-vid! (I'm not saying it in a bad way, it's genuinely so good)
wow props to you man ! the amount of work and effort these videos take must be insane..15+ hours of gameplay footage than another probably 10+ hours of editing !!! keep it up !
The song in 1:20 has been deleted from the playlist, but don't worry, I got your back. Just search on youtube "Taiyou ni Hoero - Adventure Theme". GG youtube, it was a struggle to find the deleted song. *Point down for youtube
just finished my first playthrough of ds2 today and im actually so triggered at the amount of hidden bonfires I missed that are in this video, almost every boss has an extra bonfire somewhere that I missed and I just ran the long way. I was taking my time, clearing out areas and checking everything but somehow I missed so many bonfires, would have made the game a fuck ton easier. That said, the bosses were insanely easy for a souls game. I died more getting to a boss than I did any boss, so the bonfires werent that important.
