I tried to guess what nationality the inmates were before being disclosed, mostly I got it correct, great photos.

James Lowrie and James Caan bare a slight resemblance.. imo.. as for hands on chests I think because hands are so distinctive it's a form of identification?? (reminds me of a line in a Wovenhand song, Deerskin Doll- I dare not rest my hands on my chest) whenever I'm presented with these old mug shots, I think of the words in Luke 4:18 explaining why God sent Jesus.. in short, to proclaim peace freedom and healing to the prisoners! the music around 11minutes could be used as some kinda Charlie Brown theme music ..? 🤷

You have a point. I live in NYC. Not too long ago, NYC averaged over 2000 murders per year, but now it's around 700. But, the real reason for less murders is that surveillance cameras are everywhere.
