.410 AR Shotgun Upper?!? Spearhead Model S 

I wonder how this compares to IFC and ATI uppers. It isn't a good sign that Spearhead's website vanished so you are on your own if you have issues...

I have tried multiple.410 uppers and only the Bear Creek Arsenal seems to work somewhat reliably.

Not going to take out a deer. Not really going to work for home defense...(Need atleast a 20 gauge for that despite Hornady calling their .410 "home defense"). 410 is also one of the hardest to find, most expensive of shotgun rounds. For AR-15, get a 300 AAC Black-Out with an 8.5 barrel. Then invest in a suppressor. For Deer?. Get an AR-10/AR-308 with a 22 inch barrel. Anything that isn't 5.56x45, 300 Blackout (aka 30 cal "short"), or Comm-Bloc 7.62x39mm (The uppers and bcgs are getting better and AKs are just too trendy expensive now), is different to be different.

I would like to convert it to a short barrel setup once I get approval from the ATF. Wonder if it will take the ATI 15 mag .410.

FYI: That thing that hangs down when the upper is open is the ejector stop. As the bold cycles backwards the back of the ejector in the bolt hits it. As the bold continues to travel to the rear the ejector is now stationary and hits the back of the hull rim ejecting it. Great Video!

Di you need a 410 magazine or can you use a 556 mag that the 410 shells fit in thanks

Feeding problem can cause from hiting the magazine hardly when changing mag . 410 cals are sensitive than 5.56

Not all 2 1/2 inch shells are the same length that your trouble

Homeboy, I appreciate you going over the rifle, but you shouldn’t be doing firearm reviews after only firing 30-40 rounds. That’s literally $25 of ammo for 5.56. Just barely a magazine or two boxes of ammunition.
