I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your videos. I’ve always wanted to be an OTR driver. Unfortunately, I have epilepsy which wipes out about 2/3 of the careers I’d like to have. Your videos get me as close to the real thing as I’ll get, so thanks for taking the time to make them!
I’m not a trucker, but you ought to check out Waze for GPS trip routing. You can set the type of vehicle and it warns you of all types of road hazards. It’s great. Keep on truckin’!
It's nice to watch a few of your videos last night and this morning. Much needed entertainment distraction from all the evil craziness happening in America now. Thank you.
Were you started Frankenmuth/ Brichrun great chicken dinner nice German town we drive from Canada for the weekend all the time. Its been a while lock down and all. Be safe. Nice to see the blogs again.
You mentioned “tarp shredders” when I was over the road, and got loads like this one, I used furniture blankets on the corners, they work great for protecting your tarps, got 12 for $80 in Vegas
Liked the driving music. Kinda Has a Blues sound to it. Stayed at the Petro in North Baltimore,Ohio about 3 weeks ago. Really nice place. Stay safe Dan.
I flatbed for Maverick as a company driver, run a Garmin Diesel LMT. Maverick gave us an app, Copilot. It may have better routing than my Garmin, may be an option.Stay safe.
I owner operated hauling tanker however I say no to tarping ; ) 8th in line to load and they offer a trip to Florida... hmmm Good luck Dan hang in there!
I've never had anything but problems with TruckerPath never again will I use it. I bit the bullet and bought me a Rand McNally, the lesser of 2 evils. Safe travels bro 🙏
Dan, thanks. Your usual great musical selections. Not knowing the genre, artist, or piece, I would like to dub the selection at 6:45 as 'The ennui of perpetual reason'. Blessings. Glad its all working out.
Hi DAN!!! Truckers Path, mmmmm it' very reliable on the TRUCK STOPS side of it, but not to good on the GPS side. HAMMER is a good app to go with. BE SAFE-STAY SAFE!!! KUDOS from WEST PALM Bch,FL.
Hi, Dan. That is great news that you got a good paying load. Keep safe my friend and keep the pedal to the metal & keep on trucking. I can't wait to see your next video.
Hey Dan I am sure glad to have you back on you tube. I really enjoy your videos of the road as my wife an I are retired truckers an still love the road so bought a motorhome to be on it again. I use trucker path also. You be safe out there an keep them coming trucker.
Great video and great seeing you back on the road, Dan! Good music on the video too! Looking forward to your next video and future videos. Happy trucking trails and stay safe!
1. You picked the perfect music for a rainy driving day. 2. Those oversized loads... I could be wrong, but they look exactly like the mobile field hospitals FEMA distributes. Early March, there were 2 dozen RGNs with those things waiting to offload near our closest Walmart. My guess, if those are FEMA mobiles... they're headed back to storage. Better safe than sorry I suppose. 3. Good video Dan. Stay safe.
I was going to comment on the music as well. PLUS, only Dan does this: Watch how well he times each screen scene change against the beats in the music score. The effect is just entrancing.
I know it may not be possible but I would love to see the parking process when getting to a location. Seeing how you maneuver at customer locations and stops would be interesting
Be careful with the people who are in Florida, because they are the highest place in the world with the corona virus . Be careful man . Prayers for your family and your wonderful job .
What’s going on with the new trailer. I’m soo happy for you with the best trailer that you will have. I bought a trailer and modify it and I have a little time to enjoy it.
Morning Dan. Great video as always 😄 Love your load explanation but you didn’t show the tarp 🙁 No trains too 🙄 Anyway take care see ya next time Stevie 😎🏴
Really enjoy watching your videos. As a boy who was born and raised in Louisville it's pronounced "Looaval". LOL. I'm not a trucker but just curious about the industry. Keep safe.
Hi Dan. I dont know if your still at Mercer but am I going to be able to make good money over there seiving dry van? Everything seems slanted toward Landstar but Im not so sure. Any advice would help.
Is that newer Pete or older one for moment though we’re running older Pete with cat engine :) Good video as always. Stay safe::) Did hear about Grant that died from myth busters? He will be missed.
Sir Dan !!! How's the "RANGER" doing with the fuel system as you had issues with it running right ???? Good to see that you got a good load to FL..!!! NOW to find something out of there as usually you have to D/H out !!! ""KEEP IT SAFE ""!!
loads out Fl are hard to come by tell Kattie to at Lakeland couple of fab shops right off I-4. these shops have freight going to Ohio, use to load to get in the shipping lanes. Retired now. 35 years was enough.
Dan you ever think about doing a live stream for one of you trips? I've watched a couple of them from other truckers whom shall remain nameless..lol and they are pretty cool.
