Will no one else comment on how WELL they're singing WHILE they're dancing so beautifully? Great vocal choral work on top of all that splendid dancing makes this all the more thrilling to watch and listen to! Sheer heaven!
So good to have this record of a fantastic number in the best production of this show!! Tragedy it has had to close, it should have run forever. The talent of the cast was out of this world!
You can see in the mirror at the back (and from the applause) that there's quite a few people watching! So it's likely that it was a semi-staged/semi-costumed run-through. Potentially for press, friends and family, producers, etc. If it were a normal rehearsal without people watching, they would probably not be in dress shirts.
Possibly could have been in that attire to get a feel for what they would be wearing on stage during the performance I assume it's closer to opening night here so that would make sense as well
