I don't know if anyone ever pointed this out but the amount of TALENT it takes to match complete strangers is extremely hard. Mad respect to these three.
no such thing as talent, its called skill, these guys have put more hours in then we can imagine, im an amateur but ive seen what it takes to get that good
@@AdmiralMason that's 100% impro, the only thing you can tell is not impro is the "entrance" one of both guys (the mid one is a random) use to indicate that he is going to finish. It is a rhythmic phrase that by intuition indicates to your partner that you are going to finish. And even so, it is still an impro because this type of musical language is common in improvisations.
@@mikecreativision like Nogark said, it's a signal for a finish, it's known under djembe players or probably percussionists interested in african rhythms in general. So the whole thing probably was an impro, they just both knew the signal.
I know this was 8 years ago, but since youtube is now recommending it to everyone I just wanted to say that THIS is what RU-vid was made for... pure original content by the everyday Joe.. not Jimmy Fallon talk shows and reality TV, but real people and real experiences that somebody wanted to share with others.
Exactly.. My friends band was named Lee Harvey Griswald and he was the drummer... The facial expressions this man created while playing was just as much entertainment as the music!!!! It was just pure raw, down to the lowest part of the earth happiness and joy!! Shit it'll make a suicidal , fail army, crack head mama, never wanna leave the wound Nstart life type of man to beer up and have a few giggles!! Good things I tell ya! Good things
"3 random strangers make an awesome song," "It's a Man's World" covered by some dude in the subway, "the legendary A-Train Sax Battle (supercut)," "PIPELINEFUNK," and now this. I'm building a list. Slowly, but surely I am making a playlist of these awesome moments when people come together by chance and make some awesome music. Love this stuff.
Just imagine that those drummers had to have been born at a particular time, lived a particular life and had done a particular thing on that day. To be there together. Life is no coincidence.
The most beautiful scene is near the end when the dude in the middle looks to the one on the left and sychronizes to letting him lead. You can see the trance like state in his Face. Pure magic.
He looked at (the one) on his right because he told him to speed it up, which signals the close. He lead nothing but it was and is an admirable piece. Makes me love a little more. Love you all
@@michaelmorgan6674 Bro it wasn't an history, only pointed that every people can just simply go and do everthing they want, it is going to be harder to some people than others Isn't just do it The same goes for policity , believes, religion, school, there is different people ocasions where isn't just because you wan't you will have it, you will have to fight for it.
It’s truly beautiful how music unites people of all ages, races, and places. If there is one thing we human truly share is the love of music and harmony. It can bring life to any situation you’ll ever encounter.
Man, I grew up just outside D.C. this right here takes me back. Killing it out there, when the news talks about division among people, I feel like its what they want because they never speak about the love coming from everywhere.
@@clayjones553 when people realize they are trying to be taken control of, its usually too late, like the frog getting boiled from cold water turned up slow, by the time he figures it out its game over.
RIP to my brother Walter Anthony Hernandez he passed in 2019 we just found out a few months ago, he is the last one on the buckets I miss you ever day bro
there’s something so incredibly mesmerizing about an amazing musical performance, especially percussion, that just resonates with everyone regardless of culture. when someone laughs out loud at what a musician is producing, it is a perfect expression of what makes us all human.
@@krisb-travel except you’re not because there’s still a language and cultural barrier in communication without music. Music is the foundation of language all around the world, it’s the only thing that can truly connect every person on earth
The way things are supposed to be. Forget all the hatred, racism, stress, strife, etc.... Just come together and have a blast. Love how they fell into that groove at 2:02 mark.
Great video, man these guys can drum. I was a sophomore in high school when this was uploaded. There is something about capturing this moment, none of these people would be together under the same roof. What a wonderful demonstration of talent, wow.
Imagine if every day was like that. People being Friendly to each other, allowing others to show what they can do, and embrace each other’s with respect.
M'an watching this like 1:35AM here in Dubai and it really feeds my soul... can't stop smiling watching this three talented guys enjoying their talent. Respect!
May be wrong but i think he was giving the guy's ciggies back. at the beginning there was a pack of cigs and a lighter on top of the african drum and i think the dude who joined put them down before playing. when the other half of the duet comes back, you can see him take them off the drum and put them in a bucket before starting to play, so busker was just returning his shit lol. still though, they all shared some brotherhood that day
That. Was. Epic. 3 talents, 2 generations and 3 cultures. DOES it get better than that? Maybe.. but for now: I RAISE MY HAT TO THESE 3 (I don't have but ... you know)
I was like, ‘I heard this drum line before’ and I realize that Zach King used it in one of his videos. The more you listen, the more you realize how small the world really can be. Absolute fire.
I must say, there are plenty a good kit and hand drummers but, to free style and have good beats is a rarity. Some drum to show off what they can do which is great however, I find boring. Some jammers jam and the rhythm goes no where thus boring lol. You have very good beats, rhythm that I can listen for a vey long time. Amazing !!
Loving the raw sound of music and fun my heart is just blown wide open with love! Go guys go!

Simply Fantastic and contagious. Watching for the 3rd time in a row. Long live these three, the guy who filmed this, and RU-vid for allowing this epic show to be watched anytime all over the world. And here in Brazil I leave my thanks 🙏👏👏👏👏✌
I'm 61 years old and I remember taking the bus to downtown Newark from Irvington NJ and watching this kid play bucket drums in the 80"s. That kid later on did a music video with Mirai Carrie
the energy- i can not comprehend i know for sure the boy in the middle was in the highschool drum core and was just fuckin rockin with it as soon as he saw the chance to flex
I got into a band in highschool while in the band room. I was practicing on the drum set and three people approached me and asked if I could play a song with them. We played some classic rock hits but the best one we played was Dazed and Confused by Led Zeppelin. After that I was in a band with three of my closest mates for the rest of my time in high school.
They would like us to believe that there is more that seperates us than brings us together. FALSE. Music has always been the universal language of love among everyone. These 3 people shared a special moment that none of them will ever forget. This was absolutely beautiful. So organic. This was a true human experience. This moment right here is why I still have faith in humanity! one love! light up the darkness!
