Some arcade machines we get in are NOT good enough to sell to the public and back with our 5 year service plan. These are rusty, rotted, fire damaged, "piss soaked" machines beyond redemption!
We have donated some 300 machines to non-profit organizations over the years, but also "parted" out hundreds of games also--because they were NOT good enough to retail. Think of us simply Parting Out some games here! This footage filmed from two different angles in High Definition, was to be used in a new infomercial we have not yet finished. This will eventually get trimmed down to 90 seconds. Back in 2001, we original tossed a Black Knight and a Ms Pacman from the same roof that were not repairable. That footage can be seen in Part 8 of the Infomercial currently up on RU-vid!
Don't email me with hysterics...instead email Columbia Pictures to why they destroyed 60 pinball machines when they made Tommy in 1976! Or watch the "Human Wrecking Balls" TV show and watch them destroy a complete arcade with classic working games instead of the junk I smashed!! www.clicker.com...

As a gamer from these old times, I really feel sad to see a ending to a box of circuits that gave a lot of good times to people just like animals would, except of feeding it with food you feed it with quarters, still its lots of great memories from my childhood going down that roof 😞

I don't understand. These machines were not in good enough condition to sell, right? That's fair enough. But I can see plenty of parts there that hobbyists would pay good money for! Translites, sets of legs, boards, toppers, coin doors. Almost every part imaginable. I find it impossible to believe that nobody would buy these parts if you put them up for sale (or gave them away). Personally I don't think any game is ever beyond repair. It just takes skill, patience and passion to do it. It really is a shame that these machines went to waste.

If I lived in PA I would pick up one of these and make it a restore project. I did read the full text and I understand that you give them away etc.. but still this is a shame.

People, put yourselves in the context - this was filmed 14 years ago! Back then people were massively dumping tonnes of perfectly good CRT monitors that today they are selling for crazy prices on ebay. Popular rcade PCBs were below $100 and boxed SNES games $20-30 . Arcade machines were rotting away in the backyards of former arcade playrooms etc etc.

I and many people would have taken them, why destroy if you just wanted them gone?

I was thinking the Afterburner could've been saved until I saw the top half come off in mid-air. LOL 😆

Hi! We used many parts from the playfields for other machines...but several sold between $300and $400 each 4 years ago after we filmed this.

In another video he said they took all the good parts out and replaced them with broken ones that are too gone to be fixed to make people think they're wasting these machines. The last action hero was owned by someone with 9 cats without the glass on the table so the cats peed all over inside the table ruining everything.

Ever heard about MAME or Virtual Pinball cabinets? Those cabinets could surely have been used as base for such builds.
