It's like the company behind them has decided to sell them at such a high price hoping that they can make a huge profit on the handful of idiots that bite, rather than price them reasonably and make a smaller profit on each wallet but actually make far more money by selling orders of magnitude more of them. I ordered a generic one and they are actually really nice looking and functional wallets but the price for the Ridge ones is just utterly absurd! And, furthermore, the generic ones are actually better since they don't have the word 'Ridge' plastered across the front! If I ever saw someone with a Ridge one I think I would actually burst out laughing at the thought that for the same price you could literally buy 20 identical wallets! I mean, it's a weird thing to think about, but imagine being randomly filmed at a rally and then some nobody film-maker monetizes the video of you dancing for millions of people to see. And from the name Kneecam I imagine he was actively concealing the camera so the Viking was entirely unaware he was being filmed. It would feel like a violation for most people, and not just something someone thin-skinned would take issue with.
