Lavonte deserves to be in the talk as the best LB of the past decade. This is a comparison of Kuechlyʻs 2013 DPOY stats to Lavonteʻs 2013 stats: luke: 156 tackles 2 sacks 4 int 10 tfl lavonte: 145 tackles 7 sacks 5 int 21 tfl The man is a baller and my favorite Buc of all time. Humble and hungry always to prove himself. Hope he gets a gold jacket one day

Most underappreciated and consistent linebacker over the past decade. Should have made more Pro Bowl/All-Pro teams than he has made over his 10 year career

As a Nebraska Football fan, him and Sun are 2 of the very, very few bright moments for the team in the last 20 years. Suh had the monstrous year in ‘09. Then David came to the Huskers as a JUCO player the following year. I still daydream and wonder what could have happened in ‘09 if we had David on that team.

The fact that the Buc have the two best Running back in there division ( CMC& AK) and they are still the best rank running defense in the league. Just Show how great he is. So happy to see him win a super bowl.

@@Dknight2818 not even close? he had 932 yds last year, which is basically the same as one of cook's two 1000 yd seasons... and his lowest YPC ever was 4.6 LMAO. now do TDs. the only reason he doesnt have 1000 yd seasons is because they split the work between multiple backs. instead, he spends time destroying in special teams to return kicks (although they have eased him out of that now), and acting as a wide receiver. no other player is basically the entire offense in a team. i'm saying this as a neutral guy who hates the saints.

I know Bobby Wagner is good, but David is one of the complete linebackers. Perfect speed, great coverage, terrific tackler, good hands….he has it all. It just baffles me that he is consistently snubbed. If he gets snubbed from the hall of fame I’m gonna cry.

Completely slept on till Brady came and kuechly retired. He’s been consistent with Luke and Bobby year after year and he’s been snubbed multiple times because Tampa was a small market before Brady.

Not a liability in pass, or run coverage. Takes good routes. Can cover almost anybody. Consistent. A pleasure to watch with D. White. Part of a great defense that's aiming for a second consecutive chip.

I got so much love for this team. Even when we were losing. Went from the worst team to super bowl champions, much love & respect for Tom Brady for what he brought to this team, I didn't like Him when he was in New England, but I understand that he was the goat years before he came to tampa, it was a absolute Joy to watch Him play for tampa his last 2 years and football just isn't going to be the same without Him, I grew up watching this team, I grew up in florida, the tampa bay buccaneers Will always be my team

As a lifelong Bucs fan it's great that Lavonte is finally getting the shine he deserves! When the Bucs drafted him out of Nebraska there were so many experts who doubted him. "He was too short, lack the proper weight to play linebacker and wasn't a sure tackler". Ever since he put on a Bucs jersey he proved everybody who doubted him wrong! Proud of him and he is definitely one of the best Buc players in history. Along with Mike Evans.

I know every player on this list is getting the "underrated comment" but talk about a guy that has been elite since he came into the league in 2012 and has never been given his due. 1 All Pro and 1 Pro Bowl is an insult. Among active players he is 1st in solo tackles, 2nd in combined tackles, and 8th in tackles for loss (1st as a 4-3 LB, which is more impressive considering everyone above him is either a D-Lineman or 3-4 pash rush LB).

My favorite memory of lavontae, is when he was a Husker and he stripped the ball from Ohio QB. Turned that game in favor of the huskers. Good stuff man

They just won the SB over the defending SB champions, and had to go through 3 straight SB MVP QBs to do it. Why wouldn't there be a lot of players from that team on this list?

there's actually more packers on this list than any other team. they had 8 pro bowlers even with tonyan getting snubbed. tampa only had 1 pro bowler in JPP. they obviously snubbed brady who should have been the 2nd QB with 40-12 TDs to INT, 3rd in TDs and 2nd in passing yards, but the defense really didn't play well until the playoffs.

He should be talked about as a future Hall of Fame candidate but he's barely gotten any accolades. Signing Brady and winning a Super Bowl hopefully gave us enough team success to make people realize how good he is and has been. He was every bit as good as Kuelchy.
