I'm late to the party but congratulations on your tractor. I'm in suburbia, so I don't have a need for one but everyone I know that has a Kubota loves them. Looks like a great machine.
Thanks, I have to laugh because when I parked the tractor in the garage for the 1st time I could smell that fresh new rubber tire odor and thought to myself just that, "nothing like that new tractor smell" Thanks for watching and have a great weekend as well!
Thanks John, congrats to you on yours. Great to hear that you are happy with your tractor. It is a great machine and I am loving it. Thanks for watching and keep on tractoring!
You set your leveling indicator right in the center of the arch on the guide... Put your bucket level on the ground get out and look may have to adjust your bucket with the joystick till you get perfectly level where you want loosen the jam nut on the leveler indicator and get it to where the curb sits right on the indicator guide
New to the channel here. Good job shaving the dirt off the gravel. When you dumped it there I was thinking bad idea but you saved it. Also have you thought about adding some ballast and loading rear tires. You will see improvement in traction.
Welcome to the channel and thanks for the compliment. I do have the rear tires loaded. You are right that it provides better traction. Thanks for watching and have a great day!
Yes, I actually looked at the B2601 first. But the lift capacity, the tractor width for stability, overall weight and ground clearance was not significant enough between the BX and the B2601. And for the price difference between the the B2601 and lx2610 the LX made more sense to me being a better upgrade for my needs.
My 1st impression was that the LX is so much bigger. The power and capacity is noticeably more using the LX, but I would not say massively. With the BX I was able to twist, turn and get into tighter areas much easier. I was very reluctant to sell my BX because of how great of a machine it was. You can do just about anything a larger tractor can do, it just takes a little longer because of it being smaller. If I could have afforded to keep the BX I most certainly would have. Thanks for watching and have a great day!
For 95% of what I do it has plenty of power. There is always that rare occasion that a little more power would benefit. I think that you would have that small % of time no matter what tractor you have.
