All the best you to you! Always do you best, and don't second guess yourself. Thank you for wanting to be a Marine. They are Honorable Men and Women who serve our country and keep us safe. Wishing success and God keep you safe!
Congratulations! Don't worry about coming from a small town. It'll really help to keep you grounded as you make your way through the world. The Marine Corps will open many opportunities for you to travel, experience and learn so much! When you have a chance to choose your MOS I would suggest something marketable in the civilian sector. Anything mechanical, Airwing or Tech related will set you up for the future. Good luck to you!😊
I too was from a small town when I joined the USAF many years ago, all I can say, you are in for the time of your life, all that you will see and do during your military career cannot be matched by anything else. ENJOY.......................................
Good luck with everything, it's cool to see how this works. My friend joined the marines after high school in the mid 2010's and it seemed pretty intense (understatement). Your videos are making me realize I need to be far more thankful for things in my life
Its nice to see how excited you are having the experience. You are literally bouncing. Enjoy and have fun. Don't lose focus on what you are doing. I served in the Marine Corps for a long time and enjoyed it. It helped make me a better man. There were often times I can remember thinking how incredible each experience I was going through was at that moment. Stay focused and continue to kick ass!
Just a heads up and you probably already know this, if you're gonna be doing anything physical tomorrow, make sure you find a way to get tons of water and tons of food in your system tonight, basically if you can carb up
Whatever goes on tomorrow remember this, don't be late. Basic training in the marines is going to make you take a medical discharge immediately, or it's gonna change you into a man and your family members are gonna fall off their chairs when they see you outside of Boot Camp for the first time. my advice is to watch as many videos as you can regarding Marines Boot Camp, because the other person commenting is so right, you were going to see what a workout is all about and it doesn't matter how big and strong you are going in, they will change you both mentally and physically and Marines Boot Camp is nothing compared to special forces work, so hopefully you have your mental situation ready to go day one, because one of the things they do is try to break you and they will break you, just don't quit and you're not really gonna have to worry about sleep and getting up super early because you're gonna hit the pillow and be out cold within maybe a minute if you're lucky usually it's about 30 seconds cause you're gonna get in your rack and your legs are gonna feel like rubber and your body is gonna hurt from head to toe, but the beautiful thing is after about six weeks you're gonna be like this is nothing and you're gonna go right through it and by the time you're out you'll be spitting nails
You gonna be in reality true meaning of life in military! After your training ,the military are easy breezy !just like college life and decide after your contract To stay or live the civilian life!
