New 1 rep max personal record in the back squat. Felt very solid. I descended a lot slower than I normally would have for a 1RM PR attempt, which helped me to maintain a great position in the hole and on the way up. However, I think I descended a bit too slow and could have benefited from a little speedier dip in the hole to get better rebound. All about balance. A 10 lb PR and a confident rep despite the grinding in the middle. Happy to be continuing to make progress despite the gym shutdowns with covid-19. I had to change my training substantially in mid-March, but still came out the other end with a PR.
