Always helpful tips that a fella wouldn't know if he hadn't put the work in. Thanks, you're educating a lot of guys!

Very informative, I liked seeing some of the problems you came across and how you worked through them. I swear, rocks don't seem to care what level your flint knapping skills are at, they're gonna do what they wanna do...although I have to say, you've figured out how to out smart them better than I have, haha!

yep, the stone is unpredictable. that's why it's always challenging...

much like baseball or golf, it seems whenever you are trying to hit something with something else you need to "follow through"

+aqcd I've been thinking about this a lot for the past several hours and i think it's a little more complex than simple follow through. removing flakes is very similar to driving nails properly into wood during framing, for example. i think I'll do a video to expand on this idea.

Your piece is over cooked thats why the crecks and other problems exist. Try less heat or cooking time

+James Janecek Yeah, I just wish i had a lot of the same type of stone. It's hard to tell which ones will over-cook. I have all sorts of rock and i just cook it all together to save time.
