I think that Black Fives are glorious locomotives. They were designed for mixed traffic and did their job very well.

A beautiful early August day allowing you to shoot some interesting drone video of Carlisle and area as well as at Appleby. Certainly well worth the trip this past weekend. Thank you for posting this video...

Another good day out for us and some very nice drone views on your video, despite the lack of steam to aid your guidance of the drone you got locked on it well at around 60mph.

Having worked at a heritage railway, I can remember seeing the driver and guard of the train going along, checking the connections between the locomotive and the carriages!!
