I tested the velocity, accuracy, and kinetic energy delivered by these 405 grain hi tech coated projectiles when loaded in a .45-70 government round. Let's see how they stack up.

Those bullets look very much like Montana Bullet Works hi-tech coated bullets. I have loaded them in my 45-70 to around 1450 fps, and in my 458 Winchester Magnum to about 1600, and find they are extremely accurate. I also see some Winchester-Nosler CT SilverTip bullets, 300 grains, in your box. Also good bullets.

You're shooting the jugs at an angle so your bullet would probably exit to the right.

By any chance have you ever chronographed the Hornady leverevolution out of your Buffalo classic?

Why actually yes I have. I did it when comparing it to the Hornady black 450 Bushmaster which shoots the same projectile just a bit lighter. Not only did I Chrono it but I tested it for accuracy and destructive power. Here's the link to the video. Thanks so much for popping by the channel have a great day. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NXymrVSob5U.html

Where is a good place to buy fffg powder for my Traditons Trapper pistol? I live near St. Louis Mo.

I'm going to be honest I've never shopped powder in that state but if you have a Cabela's or Bass Pro Shops that's always a good place to get powder for a pretty reasonable price also Walmart will carry it seasonally. If you don't mind paying the Hazmat fee you can always pick it up online at a place like Midway USA. By the way you can also get the Pyrodex P rated powder with the green label or the orange label stuff also works quite well in these type of pistols. Pyrodex is a little less traditional but shoots much cleaner if you're not worried about that sort of thing.
