Hi Bob... We have to build the railway too. Getting these videos out is actually quite hard work and very distracting from getting trains running. Its a balancing act. Glad you enjoyed it. We did.

Hi Glen, We started with London, Birmingham and Manchester. It seems logical given we wanted to add freight to go up the other arm of HS2. That allowed us to add the Eastern region. Glad you liked the outside broadcast in the garden.

Mckinley, David. Was Halifax main line single track in B.R. day's? I can't remember now. The mail order centre. Inside area's were divided into different sections. There were sections for Wales, Scotland, Northern Island, Isle of Man. England was divided up into different area's. I.E. North, South East, South West, etc. City's had there own area's. Then there was the oversea's area. This area mainly delt mostly with garment and shoe items, china, glass wear etc. Bigger items moved in October for Christmas gifts. They'd even send you a wooden redwood garden shed if you needed it. When we lived in Maidstone my dad ordered a 8' x 6' shed. I wonder if it's still in the backyard? Cheers, Chris Perry
I don't recall Halifax being changed after BR. Only real main change along the Yorkshire/Lancashire was mainly Healey Mills which has closed now. Wakefield Kirkgate lost many sidings as did other locations.
Hi Chris, The main Halifax station was vast . Way bigger that the space we have. Our version is a variation on the Queensbury route either to Halifax St Pauls or the line through North bridge down to Halifax Town. Its a nod to Yorkshire.

This is a fantastic project, breathtaking in its breadth and scope, but can you please tell me, How is it financed? You guys have developed some amazing stuff, but at some point money must come into the equation (Just as in real life). Great project, looking forward to seeing it in operation.
