I probably ain't telling you nuttin you don't already know but.....have you ever basted the bluegill fillet w little regular mustard,... then toss in Zataran "Seasoned" blend fish fry mix? If you ain't yet...just try n hollar back! I eat a ton of fish a year and this is my STAPLE, JSN loving your videos!!!

Dont know if you have ever been on Lake Conroe but that lake has some amazing bluegill fishing. There is gigantic bluegills in that lake just the size you were catching in the video.

I heard they sold that place to an individual investor and TPWD lost their lease . So sad . I shot so many tilapia bow fishing off tat lake for 26 years . How long ago did you guys fish it ? Sad news . I’m glad you guys had a great time .

Hey 903, will you show us how to target blue gill on sonar outside of the spawning season, side scan and down scan. This is a challenge for me. Usually I end up with white bass or perch. How can i tell the difference and target blue gill? HELP lol (again, outside of the spawning season).

That’s the only way and reason I target bluegill is during spawn, so I side scan for beds. Never targeted them any other time.
