Just exquisite! The only thing I'd ask for is an elevator due to inability to navigate circular stairs...otherwise, it's Perfection!

Very beautiful tho not very practical. Difficult to move beds, etc. to upper floors. I'm sure for competition you had specific guidelines to follow. Nice entry with a place for outer wear. Nice kitchen and pantry. Did I miss a rear entry? Could the half circle for the circular stairs become a space for fire to to easily rise to the upper floors? As others mentioned the curved windows would be big bucks and a difficult, tricky install. Maybe the simplicity of the roof would offset some of that cost. Those are my layperson initial thoughts. Hope you placed well in the competition

Добрый день. А для какого штата проект? Я живу в климате похожем на климат в Спокене штат Вашингтон. В этом доме тепло ли будет? А дизайн мне лично понравился. Конечно большое окно у лестницы не практично, если есть маленькие дети. А вообще, практично для большой семьи и дом места много не занимает на участке. Успехов в конкурсе!!!! Many thousands of dollars for those enormous curved windows to display, on the back a tricky spiral staircase, and on the front, you bathing in your tub. Both could be better served by solid walls with small windows. The entry is great, but in the living room, those of us without a grand piano would have to find some other way to use that large space. I like the large pantry and the laundry room, though the location of the latter isn't ideal, nor is the location of the powder room. I would not submit this plan for a competition without modifications.

Great design, BUT: 1) The main bedroom downstairs should have the bed view the glassed area. So move the bathroom to the side of the house and put atrium plants into the bedroom glassed area. Don't need a bath to be on display at the front of the house! 2) Kitchen does not need both a table and a breakfast nook. Rather make the breakfast nook an extended island (so food can be prepped there) with tall chairs for a dining experience. That is a lot of wasted and overcluttered space. 3) The area where the piano is standing could be bettered utilised as a crafting area. For example, sewing/beading etc. I would definitely make that area useful. We are not all maestros!
