prolly not LOL they prolly gotta hold so steady and also that seems so terrifying no matter how many times you do it, idk how they don't shatter limbs, im bouta look dat up
Yeah must be great but the fact of the matter is maybe 15 other ski jumpers could ve done it given the opportunity and enough tries. Thats why it was never accepted as the world record by FIS standards
@@nikpecenko6843wtf bro? just give the man his flowers and move on. Why do you think RedBull chose him and not anyone else? (Idk the answer but I’m pretty sure RedBull has the gears & logistics to find and scrutinize any talent they’re looking for.)
@@docarii casue they are his sponsor plus he's currently one of the best ski jumpers. But there's alot of people who have a record of 250m or even more than he had to say the least
@@docarii He is right, Kobayashi is not considered to be the best ski jumper at the moment and there are plenty of jumpers who could have done the same. This is a marketing stunt. Impressive jump of course, but still just a marketing stunt. They could make a bigger slope and break this record in a week.
Yeah that one really shocked me because had he stayed airborne for even 1 more second he would have landed on flat ground. He literally maximized the entire run perfectly!
huh? kids been doing it since he was five with the best of the best coaches and the best of the best equipment let’s not act like this is achievable with any normal person starting in high school or something..
That feeling of cresting the hill and seeing the massive white landscape in front of you while you’re just floating/falling for so long, has got to be so surreal!
Why? His parents probably didn't do more than encourage him to do what he clearly loves. He's the one who put in all the practice and work to get this far.
@@LunarethaAlter someone had to drive him to the slopes every time to practice, push him to work harder when he thought he wasn’t good enough, and look after him when he was injured. On top of doing everything else good parents do, they really gave him the freedom to pursue this dream of his. Not every kid gets that from their parents when it comes to their dreams.
This has to be as close as a human van get to flying without a wingsuit or parachute! Absolutely amazing! What a feeling it must be to glide through the air like that!❤
He was pushed to become a athlete at such a young age. In other country’s the kids are chosen at a young age and taken to camps to train to become athletes hoping one day for a Olympic medal. Such dedication
Not to be a downer but it really shows that now if you want to be the greatest at something you pretty much had to start before most even knew it was a way to go
We need to start teaching kids this is patience. This is what it takes. Nothing but the internet is on demand and instant. You see skateboad tricks and motocross backflips but thats the one out of 100 that ended right. You dont see the failure, blood, and struggle.
The skis are doing that, there not objects that are just there, they're WHY he can (or anyone that does this) he can glide like that and for so long.....he couldn't do that without the skis.
