I remember jumping off the second floor porch onto the snow piles ...Cambridge Massachusetts!! Was 5 then....and today I turn 50.....

I'm from Weymouth Ma & I was 10 years old when the storm hit & we got slammed! We had to walk to the store about 2 miles with a sled to pick up food The only good thing was no school for awhile! I hate the snow now, I don't even like saying the word

Lived/live in Attleboro area in 1978 which received 3+ feet. Seems to be plenty of revisionist history - that a monster storm was predicted. Not my memory, if so why did everyone go to work and school on that Monday?
