I’d just like to know who these dudes are, especially ppl like Rodbell, who’s always running up front and rubbing elbows w you.
The pay for these local races is fucked they need to give the top 3 less and pay back entire field there’s no reason someone in a stacked class like that getting 10-15 isn’t making at least there entry fee back. Cool first place got $1200 and he’s a professional rider how about the local guy trying to have fun and not go into debt to race locally. Been saying this for years how do i show up to a local pro am and get 10 out of 30 guys and take home 0 dollars I’m not trying to get rich but how about my entry fee for christ sakes.
Unfortunately that’s how racing works! Most races aren’t like this but these kinds of races are meant to attract top riders and fans, I do agree maybe they could have paid deeper but it’s a dog eat dog world out here! These big money races will always be tough on the locals

But eventually it’s gonna be 5 pros battling at a local race and that’s it the rest of the 35 riders r the ones paying the money for the top 3 and they will be at a local practice. The times of full gates r dwindling down as is, the current pay at these local events r a direct cause to not having full gates in the payout classes.
Everyone says that to you because it’s the truth lol if you wanna get paid go faster, I’ve been there plenty of times. Moto isn’t a socialist sport and neither is racing in general!
@@mattburkeen820 I understand why the pay is the way it is at the local races I don’t agree with it tho. I don’t think ur hearing my points for why the sport would benefit from changing the payback structure around and paying less to the top 8 and further back into the field.
