"i know youd love to see #820 flying on or off the bike at a supercross near you" bro youre my new favorite pers on to watch the commentary is the best.
Bro keep doing you man!! We all love your content no matter what you’re doing. From riding to spectating/announcing we all enjoy what you post. I completely get it about supercross it’s a whole different monster to tame, I still struggle with moto but excel in hare scrambles/sprint enduros. No matter what the 820s doing we all stand with you brother! You’d be surprised at how known you are in mid Michigan man just from the outdoor nationals reppin the 2smoke! Keep doing you brother and we’ll keep watching🤙🏼🤘🏼
Some of the most beautiful riding I have seen is when your on game ripping the YZ. You know what’s best for you. 24’ is a new year safe, fun, fast 🤘🤘🤘🤘
You’re funny, you’re charismatic, and you’re personable. Extremely knowledgeable. You have a long long, lifelong career in telecasting. We don’t wanna see you hurt Homie.
Damn bro are people that on you about that? I’m here to follow the privateer program and support regardless. Stay healthy and race what you want to race, fuck anyone who says anything else. If you don’t feel it. You don’t do it. This sports far too dangerous to be pushed to the point you feel forced to do something. Those people pushin on you like that aren’t real fans anyways. That entirely robs the joy out of the sport. Especially when your doing it out of passion because we aren’t cashin factory checks out here. Get healthy g. Ride sketchy but stay safe and go ride what makes you happy, even if it’s just a pit bike. Life’s too short.
Happy Thanksgiving. I can picture SuperFan at the dinner table. "Can you pass the TURKEY!?!" The same way he yells Freddy. Thanks for another great video.
I think your commentary is getting to be pretty well known throughout the industry. If racing is not the path for you I believe there will be other opportunities. Youre definitely appreciated by the RU-vid community
MattyB is right where hes supposed to be . Its mind blowing that he isn't over 100k subscribers yet. His videos are just as entertaining as uncle Ronnie mac . All i watch is MattyB , Buttery , gypsy tales, Ronnie Mac , and Deegs. Stick to your niche and it will always pay off
you have been putting in laps for lots of years, you have come a long way. hope to see a two smoke one more time in the 450 class, we will be looking forward to it. love the racing and you do a really good job of videoing the motos. good luck in the next season.
Honestly I don’t think so because the issues I was having this year with the numb problem and all were all new problems this year, my wrist injuries are almost 10 years old
Straight up. Honest to God, Supercross is GNARLY as fuck. I’d love to be able to ride supercross regularly just for fun cruisin around clean because it reminds me so much of bmx as a kid. Race it though? 😂😂😂😂 hell no.
We only had arenacross in Baltimore and the people that knew I raced moto would give me shit for not racing on amateur day. It wasn’t worth explaining the difference and the risks. The injuries from my first real job that I had(9 years) and motocross have really caught up to me at 50. There are nights I want a cane to take a piss and usually bounce off walls when a knee or ankle gives out. Better memories than if I played softball or just watched sports, no regrets.
Maddy b how good could u ride a moto without touching the clutch i honestly wish i would of bent my clutch lever down when i use to practice snd race and learn to ride without it
@mattburkeen820 Interesting! I always thought a arena cross rider would do good in sx due to the similarity. I guess I gotta update my belief system 😕 😂. Happy holidays Mr.820 !
I was just wanting to prove myself and made a bad discission. I've even got hate on here on you tube. People calling me a less than novice rider because of my videos. Where I live is so far out if you fuck up you will die.
Haha dude fuck all the people hating, they are just a bunch of losers who wish they could do something with their life so they hate on somebody that’s actually out there doing something
You've got the gift of gab, own a camera and know how to edit. No choice but to stay off the supercross tracks. Those grass covered triples really show the sillyness of a proper SX trip, wow.
I wouldn’t stress the sx thing too bad look at jwalk a well established mx rider with a large following he even said it’s not worth the risk and money I believe he also stated recently on jhops podcast if the right opportunity came along he’d attempt it but those are one in a million I just like your involvement in the sport regardless if you race professionally or not
No stress about it here just wanted to let everyone know why I’m not about it! Thank you I really appreciate it, no matter what I do I want it to be Moto related!!
I rode a buddies 2 stroke after some time off of riding in general and had a blast, bought one for $3,000 in 2019 and just never had so much fun racing as I have on the 2’stroke
😆 Sounds so familiar I too broke my left wrist & bones in the right hand one crash couldn't wipe my A** I did my right knee tore my ACL MCL meniscus & the left knee torn ACL meniscus & the Supercross Whoops got me real good My back locked my knees to the tank as I went end over end folded me face first in the Dirt as I'm still clamped to bike the back of the seat & back fender hit me in the back of Head like a hammer 🔨 & nail ruptured my L5 & L5-S1 that was the scariest one for me, Supercross is no joke it's a different Animal this was back when going Pro there was no Supercross prep you had to do Arena Cross to go get your points for the SX license but the tracks didn't' compare to each other particularly the Whoop sections the jumping distances was close but the faces of the take off wasn't as steep it's a big learning if you're just getting into SX or Arena as an adult
God bless you Matt. You don't need an excuse not to race supercross, only crazy people with a death wish race supercross. Stick to outdoors, which is still dangerous, but not as dangerous as supercross.
Thank you I’m not even trying to have excuses just explaining to everyone why you won’t ever see me out there! You’re right it’s all dangerous but outdoors is at least not quite as bad as sx
Don't blame ya. SX practicing seems like the most boring thing ever. Hundreds of laps of the same thing over and and over and over. Some riders think its more safe than MX, and maybe it can be if you have the best bikes, track prep, trainers and coaches, and track spotters, but not for everyone. The fact that 3/4 of the top 450 field is out by the time MX rolls around is an indicator its not "safer than MX".
Largely true….and some time, probably on his own private track. Comfort/consistency, strength building, and predictable bike set up and yes with the 450 power to make parts of it easier. Then the rhythm builds, and we see he already has the rhythm even though he says no lol He could rip it strong for sure, but it does take a LOT of preparation without the pressure that the one dork put on him way back when.
I agree with you about the talent deal, either you have it or you don't, sx is no joke and like you said, one little mistake and your done. I would rather see you out racing some more pro-am races than sucking soup thru a straw. Braap
I don't blame you it's death by whoops or death by dragon backs. And you don't want free trips to endonesia in first class. Stay safe and race mx. Matty B. You're a great rider just stick to what you do best! We all love your content. And you don't need to catch more case's then Donald Trump he has the money to pay but medical bills blow. I loved watching you battle with Haiden at Southwick you where ripping it up.
My man if your going outdoor suspension hope your going all the way stiff. .....and I hope your racing motorama. You can race supy ..... just get that life insurance In place
