First of, congrats on your purchase! 🤙🏾 OEM hardtops are becoming increasingly difficult to find. Some of the pros compared to the soft top are safety, aesthetics, visibility, and value. Several years ago, many S2000s would get stolen or vandalized for the seats, radios, and steering wheels. The easiest point of entry was through the soft top. So naturally hardtops became a popular item. In regards to aesthetics, I feel as though the OEM hardtop completely changes the look of the S2000 in a good way of course. I’m terms of visibility, the rear glass on the OEM hardtop is significantly larger than the glass on the soft top, offering increased visibility which I find to be crucial in the S2000. Regarding value, I find that the S2000 OEM hardtop tends to continue to increase in value over time, so you could consider it sort of an investment. Some of the cons of the hardtop compared to the soft top are that it can creak from time to time which is something that I don’t think is really talked about. There can also be wind noise at higher speeds. However, there are certain measures you can take to make these less apparent. Installing OEM hardware is one measure and some S2000 owners have applied Shin Etsu grease to quiet down the squeaks and creaks. If you search “shin etsu grease OEM hardtop” in Google, you’ll find articles discussing this on S2ki in further detail with instructions on how to apply the grease. Hope this helps 💯

Ahhh man, there are sooo many here! I wish I was able to get footage from the original meet location. There were a lot of nice builds out there! A group here just did a S2000 run to the Keys a couple weeks ago and the majority of people didn’t go but it was still a great turnout. About 15 cars showed up for that one! Maybe a little more! Every chance we have to get together we jump at it lol

@@Scubah I live in Canada. M y2004 S2000 and 94 Integra GSR hibernate from November to April. I am looking forward to getting out there later on this month as we had an early spring this year. I wish I could take either cars down State side for a run once both federal governments reopen the border. I usually rent Mustang convertibles when I go down to Florida.... not the same as a S2000, not by a long shot.

@@marcperras9072 I love the Canada import scene! I feel like every car I've seen out of Canada has some really tasteful mods! I've seen some of the LevelOne S2000s...absolutely amazing! I know how that must feel having to store your cars for the winter, you must always be itching to take them out! Lol yeah I agree, the Mustang is like night and day with the S2000. I've been in a couple other roadsters but I haven't found anything quite like the S2000! Hopefully when you're down here, the schedules will align so that you could meet some of the local S2000 owners! They usually post cruise and meet dates on the SoFloS2k IG page
