47712 Lady Diana Spencer comes to Carlisle.
Plus 56s, 90s 68s in tandem.

Filmed mostly at Citadel station and then at Cotehill on the Settle & Carlisle line.
A mix of freight and passenger trains seen at Carlisle. Interestingly three with locos in tandem - a pair of 68s on a flask train, a pair of 56s on The Logs and a pair of 90s on a run from Crewe - driver familiarisation?
But the highlight was the visit of 47712 Lady Diana Spencer and its matching Scotrail push'pull set led by DBSO (Driving Brake Second Open) 607. Apparently this tour, from Crewe to Carlisle out via the WCML and returning via the Settle & Carlisle line, was sold out and actually not expensive.
Apologies for some of the sound. I discovered one or two issues which I think I've worked around. However I was limited on the sound of blustery wind which only started once I;d got to Cotehill. You'll see from the clouds that the meteorologists would have been having fun.
Captions are largely copied from Real-time Trains web site. Occasionally I'll expand on initials that are obvious but not those where I'm unsure.
