No disrespect to Callum but the cameraman brought a great vibe this video and shot some really nice scenes of you guys throughout!! Big up to him hope he features more and thanks for the 1 hour of free content Matt! You deserve a lot more views for the content you put out🤯🤯
I love your video. You all are so positive, you take contact to the locals, and then they would love to talk to you. Just remember, when travelling in Denmark, everyone around you understand every word you say about them. 😄 Not that you said anything rude or impropriate.
Thank you for NOT just going to the famous michelin restaurants, but actually hitting the streets where the rest of us love to go out and get something eat from, without having to reserve a table 18 months into the future. With the pastery, should have gone to visit Eriks Bageri, absolutely a hidden gem since 1972
I went to Copenhagen a couple of years ago, the food was very good. The Danish open sandwiches, the seafood, the bakeries were the best I have ever visited, especially in Fredericksburg, coffee was also very good. I also enjoyed great kebabs and even had one of the best curries I have ever had at an Indian resturant in Amager, which is just south of the centre of Copenhagen.
Never mind that mad old woman at the Gasoline grill - u guys just made me a fan, what a great channel you got here, 2 proper lads☺️ much love from Copenhagen Denmark❤️🇩🇰
She's old, sense-impaired, gathering bottles from trash bins, she might have a history of substance abuse and it isn't uncommon in those environments for people to have some deep pits in their memories, so it might not be the first time, someone has greeted her, that knew her, without her recognizing them.
New subscriber here; I discovered your channel yesterday by watching your Sally’s, Pepe’s, and Modern Apizza reviews. I’m hooked; keep up the great content!
An absolute enjoyment to watch! Love the banter between you guys and the light comedic touch was terrific. I grew up just north of Copenhagen, spent a lot of my youth there, but moved to Sweden about 12 years ago. So to see you having a great time there, made me so envious of you, but at the same time I couldn’t help feeling a little proud of being a Dane. I’m here for more relaxed reviews!
Really enjoyed this video absolutely sat creasing when you met Prince Charming, the humour between you lads is brilliant when you’re having a bit crack with the public stumbling across random places is brilliant and much more enjoyable than a Propper food review honestly! Please do more of this, a more relaxed take on the videos having a laugh I’ll watch them all!
Juno is great, but you need to try the bread at Hart Bakery too - it's by Richard Hart who used to head Tartine in San Francisco but moved to Copenhagen to do the breads at Noma. Truly legit sourdough.
If you guys ever decide to come back, allow me to be your tour guide. Make it a cross-country trip for a few days, where you guys can see some of our history and also get the best foods we have and not just from the main city :D Sometimes you got to go to the smaller cities, for the true Danish food experience.
i love these long vlogs, can watch them over a few days on my breaks at work, the shorter form content has to be big bold and intense to capture the audience which is great also but this longer stuff is so laid back and such an easy watch. great edit dan and always a pleasure to see kem on the screen. def need to take a trip to denmark in the near future
Very Cool! Really like seeing people lose their mind at Juno. I'd love your take on POPL burger (Noma burger). As someone who can't really afford to book a table at Noma, I find their cheeseburger absolutely delicious.
Hey guys, enjoyable watch actually, sat through it all, and it looked like you had a good time! Oh, and don't let prince charming upset you. You guys are plenty good looking yourself, keep on champ'ing onwards ! But here's the Danish advice, as even pointed out yourself, go get those steps in! You guys are eating a stupendous amound of food, gotta make up for it somehow, should've taken the cycle even haha, joined the madness that is the Copenhagen Cycle Trafic, but beware, the same kinds of people that would sit behind you in a trafic light honking at you out of frustration, if you're too slow, you will hear the bell, and you probably wont hear it just once from the same person haha
Wonderful work with this video - especially the vibe and positivity you guys infused this this with. May I suggest that you try simply biking aimlessly about next time? Copenhagen is filled with gems - food and otherwise ❤
36:18 hi from Denmark. There are lots of places with combo ovens around in Denmark. Where they use electric ovens that can also have some few pieces of burning wood in the side. So you get the right temperature and the smoke flavor.
I lived in Iran after the revolution, during the Iran/iraq war before the team were born, I was a headstrong 19 year old that eloped there after being forbidden by my father to get married, it was a fantastic experience, 90% great people (excluding the religious nutters) great food and fantastic hospitality
You need to get anything with handmade remoulade, next time you are in Denmark! I’m sure you would love it from what you said. That a super Danish thing that we eat with almost anything!
We Danes are fully aware that our genetic build is absolutely world class. We try to act like ordinary people, though, so that we do not intimidate lesser fortunate tourists needlessly. We do not always succeed in this, but we do our best! Also - another Danish quality - apart from our awesome genes - is our inherent sense of irony. Greetings from Denmark!
@@jon3584 I'm afraid that's not true. It's not kernemælk, it's kærnemælk - "kærne" being the "churn" of churning butter process, of which kærnemælk was a byproduct.
No offense, But I've never understood why some from Brittania seem to view themselves as apart from Europe? You do know that You are Europeans no matter how You define Europe, right? Geologically, historically, ethnically - whatever!?
For next time you go: don't take taxis, They are expensive AF and public traffic is decently cheap and easy to get around with. Just don't buy single tickets for public traffic - I think you can get some kind of tourist travel ticket for multiple days.
at this point I have watched 7 minutes and about 50 sec off this and I want to travel with you lot and experience places with you. This is so great I love it. the vibe is brilliant, you ppl are great, first time I watch your channel but F-star-star-star ill be back for more.
Loved everything about this video. I live here and will now go try out some of the stuff I have not tried myself yet. Also I think it is the first time I have seen one of these food vlogs in Copenhagen, trying a flæskestegssandwich. I am glad you liked it :D And the video it only got better with the poor butcher boy just out there looking like an average Danish dude, I love it XD
When you cut away at the Persian Street food for its own video the flow left me confused and eh? Was it such a good video it's taken out for views or did something happen? It's not up yet so I feel a bit miffed.
Oh its just the tip of the iceberg copenhagen, everyone puts their own spin on it. I live in west sjælland and there is loads to recommend. Arghhh comeback i love this show
I live in CPH and love it. I live in DK and love it. I live in EU and love it. But we miss the Brits. Why did you foresake us? We share so much. Not only taste for good food. Also the good living, the sense of humor. Get back in the game with us. If there's something you don't like, help us change it.
If you come back to Copenhagen again you should try the restaurant named " Høst " and tage there 5 dish diner with the wine Menu it are worth any penny it cost and then some..
I have lived in England for years. Travelled in Canada and both places people would say: Come the dell Danishes in here. I would just say. Nope not the real thing. No one outside Denmark knows the secret.
