What a win for Dior… Mina’s audience is full of thoughtful people who have a real appreciation for clothing as an artistic medium. I think it elevates the brand that they see the value in Mina and embrace her.
I’m genuinely so happy for Mina because these are the kind of opportunities she deserves to experience after making such amazing videos for us to watch 💗
Plus points to Dior for this collab with Mina! I wish more heritage brands would recognize online creators that lean toward history/art/critique more than just the shopping-centered ones.
Yes pls 👏🏼 I guess that some of us, who buy according to love for a design instead of random people saying it’s popular, would really appreciate to see this pov more often.
As a Parisian, I can tell you Paris is WAY TOO ROMANTICIZED for its own good (like every big city in the world but it’s way worse here✋🏾) so thank god we have at least them big fashion names on our side.
Same with a lot of famous tourists attractions. I'm Bavarian and for me Neuschwanstein is like the most overrated castle in the history of castles. I still like it though because it brings in tourists leaving lots of money which is used for the preservation of actually interesting castles and not the unlived-in neverland castle. Meanwhile tourists see the real life disney castle.
@@ateisate7270 omg i didnt know it was used for preversation. im just floored everyday because the region is kind of swarmed by castles (there are THREE in the same area, not just neuschwanstein) and churches and you really see the history in ever cobblestone lmao. i have no idea how people outside of germany think though, ive always experienced not much interest in the castle from other germans who do not live there
Paris has its issues like any other big city, but let me tell you, I've lived in NYC, LA, and Atlanta, and in comparison you can feel how in Paris there is a focus on health, accessibility to healthy food and reliable transportation, severe reduction in noise pollution, focus on city being walkable, I could go on and on. Not to mention everyone being well dressed and keeping to themselves rather than being rude or in your face... it's a wonderful city to me.
I'm so proud of how much you've progressed Mina! I started watching when you'd only just made your first couple of videos, and now you're in Paris with Dior!
i usually don't like to see people living my dream but i'm genuinely so happy for mina! this is so well deserved and i'm so excited to see what else is to come
You are one of my favorite content creators on this site! I love your opinions on fashion and commentary on current problems within the industry(ex. your video on clothes not fitting)along with your other wonderful video essays posted. I hope you have a fantastic day!
Hands down this is the most interesting Fashion week video I’ve ever watched! The archives piece was such a unique touch. So happy too see Mina have this opportunity!
I have never seen a video anywhere on RU-vid that began with a smile as big as that. And once you explained what happened, I can see why. Congrats!!!!!! That’s huge. ❤
I’ve noticed how Dior is giving so many opportunities to RU-vidrs like Mina and Nailea Devora to be more involved in the fashion world of Dior, which is very smart on their end. Inspiring the next generation!
I feel like you love fashion in such a genuine, none pretentious, judgemental or self conscious way and it's such a rare thing to see!! Makes me happy as that's the way dressing up should be enjoyed :)
It’s so cool to see a true lover of fashion get to see all of these fabulous pieces. I honestly think Mina is such a good “influencer” to see these garments as she truly has such a knowledge, passion and love for it all.
Love this! Been watching since your first video from your parents kitchen during COVID-- so happy to see you finding your place in the fashion industry! Also seemed like you were totally vibing with the woman who worked at Dior, fun to watch two fashion nerds look closely at beading together
I've learned so much about Mina in the past day. Over on IG I learned that she lived in Montreal for a bit and in this video she lived in Australia and worked at Disney World Florida? Girl what haven't you done!
Mina you are charm itself, informed and insightful about any subject you shine your light on and simply a joy to watch. Dior take note, I want so much more of this thank you ✨
this is thrilling…good for Dior for recognising fabulosity and good on you, watching you appreciate every fine detail is so lovely ♥️ amazing and exciting and so much buttery leather omg
Ahhhh! Mina you deserve all of the good things that come to you! This is so fitting after watching the Dior documentary on Hulu. You look like you're beaming with excitement, and we're here for that always! That's why we come back to watch you over and over again. Love!!
This was such a beautiful video! So happy to see you being presented with these opportunities because it's absolutely deserved. Would love to see more of this, so fashion houses... collab with Mina!
I LOVE YOU MINA AND KNOWING YOU USED TO LIVE IN AUSTRALIA AND WORKED FOR DISNEY IN FLORIDA MAKES ME REALIZE I WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT YOU!!! HOW MANY LIFES HAVE YOU LIVED GIRL___ IM SO GLAD YOU GOT INVITED TO PARIS BY DIOR!! YOU DESERVE EVERYTHING!!!
So Mina Le is now a shill for Dior and it's owner Bernard Arnault. Congratulations. Would have been more impactful had she worked in collaboration with any independent fashion designer from anywhere around the world. But, no, let's put on some rose-tinted glasses, boost Dior, and watch Mina Le sell out.
omg i could not stop smiling through this whole video! your excitement and passion is infectious! what a fantastic and SMART collaboration - you are the perfect person to partner with dior as their past is so storied and influential. congratulations
this whole video is amazing and i'm so glad big fashion brands are starting to notice gems like mina, but that scottish lady yelling "you've come up since then!!" specifically warmed my heart so much
Mina goes to Pariiiiis😚 "You know Mr Dio-" "Was bald?😆😆😆😂" MINA WHY😂😂 Anyway he was a superstitious man (according to news sources) and hearing that there was always a "Bobby" in the collection reminds me of how there was always a red piece(was it a dress or a shoe? Can't recall) in the collection for "good luck"? I think he also just _really_ believed in recreating the sequence of things that happened before a good result. In a sense, he wanted to secure good luck almost compulsively? Or maybe his dogs just meant THAT much to him, which also checks out.
normally i dont watch vlogs, i always get bored for some reason though ive heard a lot of people really enjoy them. but fashion is a sweet spot, especially if paired with biographical history, and when youre going into archives and stuff im basically shot dead TvT this was so lovely, i enjoyed it a lot, very relaxing
Hi ! The video was awsome I really enjoyed it ! Just for information even if it not very significant, being French and English and having the same name as the director (Soizic) when pronouncing the name in English the "c" at the end is not silent !! :)
Mina this is no hate to you, please dont get me wrong. But I really kinda feel funny about women wearing scarves on their heads in france as a fashion statement, when there are muslim women not being able to wear whatever they want. Maybe you could do a video about the history of headscarves of smth. I love your content
Its interesting you wearing this cute scarf on ur head and they had no problem with it, yet if another woman wore for religious purposes they wouldnt have been nice about it. U should make a video on the double standard.
O, Mina! You are the take away gem here, dearest!! Love your personality your fashion your real-ness your taking us out and away ... to a fashion show and collection in Paris, no doubt! Your humility ... so very trustworthy. As an old fash-fleur (okay, high school and a tad clubbing to dance), that stuff goes a long way ...... Thank you, Beautiful Miss!
Finally someone who is invited from social media/RU-vid that makes sense to be there, such a great video and although it was strange to see mina out in the wild haha
I’ve been following you for a while and I’m SO HAPPY FOR YOU! I have to say that I don’t follow influencers because I don’t agree/like those shallow lifestyles they promote. But in your case, i am so happy to follow you because your fashion style is UNIQUE and you have such a good taste in vintage fashion, I think you’re a genius when it comes to this stuff. I wish you all the best, but please please please stay humble and be yourself, please don’t become like the other influencers that abuse of fillers 😂 Love you ❤❤❤
This is so awesome! I first came to channel when I was splurging all things Audrey Hepburn (when I newly discovered who she was) though I did not have an interest in fashion. But I kept coming back for more because the videos were so high quality and they made my IQ higher (unlike many other RU-vidrs out there) and eventually I subscribed. I now have an appreciation with designers what they are doing and the history behind it. That being said, the wardrobe department in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang we’re having a field day creating Truly Scrumptious and Baroness Bombard’s outfits!
those shoes remind me of Alexandre McQueen's 1999 collection (the one with the prothetic leg). I adore the fact that Dior picked you - you look very Dior to me (I'll say that your usual looks have the Galliano for Dior vibe, which makes them iconic). Congratulation on this collaboration!
Congratulations, Mina. You are exactly who these opportunities should be going to. You give us such high quality entertainment and education, and this makes me so happy. Iconicccccc collab.
Wonderful! I really liked how warmly you were welcomed and how thoroughly you were able to record and report what you experienced. You always make videos with substance.
no one more deserving than our own Mina! Such an incredible video love, thank you for taking us on this journey! So so so interesting to learn about the history of Dior along with you! ❤️
