One of the greatest feats in Professional Sports History was Bourque's last season. 40+ years old he lead his team in Ice Team and only one other player in the NHL had more than Ray #77. 40+ years old ! Mind boggling.

I have no homer affinity for Boston or Colorado ... but you are correct. I was thrilled he got his deserved ring in Denver. Orr is a GOD over the position, but Bourque was so damn solid in every aspect of the game. As a North Star fan, I always thought if Ray wasn't around Craig Hartsburg would have received more notoriety. But, he was .92 Bourque. Ray was complete in every way. His shot wasn't Iafrete or MacInnis but accurate and created rebounds every time. Neely appreciated it greatly. One of the best fo sho.

3 Things I learned from this interview that I never knew about Ray before. 1- So sad to lose a mom at such a young age. 2- Ray could have been a Midget AAA Lac St-Lion 🦁 in their inaugural season.😲 3-Ray has an incredible memory regarding a 1991 story.
