YEEESSSS, YES, YES, YES Giiiirrlll! When I saw this video I lit up. I’m one of girls that cannot cornrow to save my life! LOL! I will definitely be using this method. You just changed the game for me. Luv this!❤️❤️
Gdeve. Me too. I'm sick of doing my own individual braids on my own head. This is a Beautiful Slam'n, Short Sassy Style. I have 2 do this on my own head of hair. I'm ready 4 a new Style. I wish that this Sista lived in my State. I'd hire her 2 my crochet or Latch hook braids. 4 Reals! Real talk!
I love your videos and the fact that you actually take you time in showing how you do the hair, and actually give us a close up.The best I have seen so far.Thank you
Thanks for sharing this video. It's a long time I have been waiting for something like this. I really appreciate how you have blown it up so I could see and follow clearly every step
i just love this way of doing doing it iam trying to get away from perms and this is it because my hair soft and none crose THANK YOU SO MUCH for the video
I can't braid hair, but I can railroad track with the best of them! Did this to my mom's hair for the new year. She loves it! She can't stop shaking her hair! Lol Told her she's got to wear it at least a month and a half. I'm a nurse not a beautician! We are super happy with the product and the super simple video. I only needed four of the eight packs so we'll take it down in two months and re do it!
You are so innovative! You need to be teaching a class somewhere, but thank you putting the information out there for everyone to learn. You are truly a treasure and inspiration ❤️. Also, the model is very beautiful. 😊
I absolutely love the way you showed how to do the connecting plaits so clearly and how you explained it. I am good at plaiting singles. Thank you for this video.
THANK YOU!!! I loved how you slowed it down and really showed how to connect the braids together because that was my problem for the longest. Now I can do the faux individual pattern on my lil sis hair.
Wow straight to the point without any unnecessary stuff and I really appreciate that thank you for the technique and thank you for taking the time to show us 😊😊😊😊
OMG. Thank you so much for doing this tutorial. I've seen others that say "no cornrows" and they end up cornrowing the back. I was just gonna flat twist the back, but this is way better and I love the finished product👍
Could do this with my daughter's or grandbabies hair. Would love to try with my hair but I have several thin and bald spots on the crown of my head. (Alopecia)
Ugh!!!!! Gorgeous!!! I love it. I love the technique. I want my hair like that. I have plenty of hair now. I've been growing my hair back over a year now. The young lady is very pretty.
I love that the braids connected together also gives it an illusion of singles yet it’s crochet. I’ve started doing mine and can’t wait to get the hair in tomorrow!
Yessss lol we called them "latch hooks" in my city back in the day 🤣 everything the younger folks do is a rerock of what we and the generations before us have already done.
@@EssenceofBeauty82 yesss! I STILL call it a latch hook. I started to do these types of hairstyles on myself in my 20s. I'm 53 now. My 2 daughters have worn some variation of latch hook styles all of their lives. 26yo & 30yo. Glad to see someone else knows what this was originally called.
@@Brandee621 Wow that is awesome because now you're schooling ME 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 lol!! I am 38 years old and my mother always tells me that everything is a throwback. When I saw fanny packs come back and Champion become hot I was like yeah I see what you mean, mom! ❤💯
I just saw this video and I am so thankful for it because I have fibromyalgia and I have real thick hair it is not quite 4c but it is very thick I don't know what you call it. I am half Puerto Rican and half west Indian mixed. I can cornrow but this method will be easier for me. Thank you for sharing. God bless you. I love your videos because you take your time teaching showing and explaining. Thank you soooooooo much. God bless you and stay safe.
That is a very good question. I'd like to know the same as well. I'd also like to know if this braid pattern is good for longer length crochet hair like, 18" and up? Will this braid pattern support the extra length without adding tension or is it better to use cornbraids for longer lengthy instead? Thanks! 😊😘 PS- love the braid pattern and style. Thank you so much for sharing. 🥰
Beautiful I remember this classic style of making hair in our school days ..its a classic ancient African style of making hair...still remains to be one of best protective ways of making hair
I HAVE NOTICE THROUGHOUT THE YEARS WHEN CORNROWS WAS POPULAR 😱 IT TOOK OUR HAIR OUT AND ESPECIALLY ON AND AROUND OUR FOREHEAD, AND THAT IS WHY I NEVER LIKE CORNROWS
This is VERY beautiful. I don’t do hair and can’t crochet but, I believe it can be done. Love this style and thanks for the step-by-step instructions 🤗
It is very beautiful but you know how much they hurt it's hard for me to sleep at night like and likes for at least two to three weeks for you to be able to sleep
oh my God ! I love love love this tutorial . it is very helpful to those who cannot corn roll thank you very much for sharing this with us and I will definitely keep an eye on the next video
Its a shame I had 2 girls and never learned to braid hair. Always paid to have their hair done. Can plait v/s platte hair like this though. This is right up my alley.💕thanks.
Great informative video, thank you! One request, please could you lower the music, it is too loud. I need to keep lowering the volume every time the music plays and then raise it when you give instructions.
Such a nice and very giving video. You are not staged and showy. You remind me of someone teaching a family member, a little sister or niece or close friend. Very authentic and truthful in your intentions to share knowledge. It’s becoming more and more rare on RU-vid. These RU-vidrs act like straight hustlers out here!
Omg this is a game changer!! I worry about using the rubber band method causing breakage but this would be perfect for a crochet style or braiding down for a wig. Bless!
It is pretty I used to cry when my mom would fix my hair as a kid and sometimes I would tell her to cut the knots out instead of coming them I think I told somebody that not to long ago that was doing my hair like owww just cut it out
Very neat!! I love the love twist because I cannot make cornrows on my hair. Anyone know how I can get this hair in Germany? Thanks 😊 Good Job 👏🏾💁🏾♀️👍🏾😉
YESSSS i know how to do it like that Thank you. Now i just need to know how to do the crochet braids i like that hair because i like it short in a bob YESSSS it is Beautiful Amazon Awesome Wonderful 👌 👏 👍 😍
Did you only use one pack of hair. Because I have a pack that has 81 braids but I want to know exactly how many braids I will need. Loving this can't wait to use this on my daughter's and myself
Thank you, none of the women in NO generations of my family ever learned how to cornrow, all we can do is plait hair so this will work for a self-install. Might take longer to take down, I’d only do 2-3 rows of squares in the front.
I know how to cornrow, but I do inverted cornrows. However, because the crown of my hair is very thin, so it's difficult to to braid that area. However, I found this method to be very good for that and also to do a horizontal braid at the nape. I found this method puts less stress on the hair. So, I did a combination of inverted cornrows and this method. I love it. In the past I have just added a braid to the next braid, but using one braid as the leg of another is far better because there is no bulkyness. Thanks for this tutorial.
I like the method you used in plaiting her hair going back. Even though I know how to cornrow I would use this method. Mainly because my hair is so thin and fine cornrows pulls on my edges causing it to break off.
Thank you for the videos they help me a lot in doing my own hair😊 I have a question plz, do you think I could use this method to put Senegal coils ends twist in my hair? I wish I could show you a picture of the hair.
