Out of all the tutorials I've watched so far, (and believe me I've watched a lot) no one has else pointed out that I'm loop it throb the braid and not under it. I was looking at my daughters hair trying to figure out why it was so loose in the back, and now I see. Thank you for your tutorial.

I am 70 hrs old and this is how my mom braided my hair as a little girl and taught me to braid as a little girl. This is old school plaits, I braid my hair this way when I have crochet braids. Good to see you braid this way, bring back memories.

I have 3A hair but I just LOVE these videos and I find them super interesting and relaxing to watch! I love to educate myself on afro hair and styling techniques (its also always fun to surprise people including my black friends with knowledge they weren't expecting!).
