A nice neat looking firedoor,will make firing a bit easier on the loco,tricky at the best of time,a nice job.

Drill and tap the blackhead for the firehole door. The door latch on my Tich has been fixed this way since 1956 when I built it aged 12😅

Good progress I have a set of plans for a big boiler titch, it's no 4 on my build list

Nice work but it looks like you have used soft solder not silver solder. Silver solder is used for brazing. It has a much higher melting temperature than soft solder and would have a much stronger fixing. It might be okay but I hope it will be strong enough to hold those hinges and won't fail with the heat of the boiler. It's still a good video 👍
