I mean this as a figure of speech, but I would strangle a midget to have my old Flint Black Metallic DA9 back with this swap in it. I had the Stanley one piece headlights and altezza tails (this was back in 2000), an all Sony stereo with Sony mids and highs, a Soundstream Reference 1000x4 amp, four Orion Cobalt 10s, a Sony 10-disc CD changer, a full leather interior swap, a self-built turbo kit, and a set of heavy chrome 17" wheels for it. With the 134k mile B18A1 and 12 lbs of boost on a Dodge Daytona T3 internally wastegate turbo with DSM 390CC injectors, a DSM side mount intercooler, SSAutoChrome manifold, tuned on a ZDyne Gold SECU it made 297 whp and I LOVED that car. I was merging onto the turnpike while it was raining one day and three tractor trailers traveling together inadvertently ran me off the road with the water coming out from under their trailer tires. I slid sideways, took out a no littering sign, slid sideways up a bank, and dropped 15' back down onto the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The rear subframe was completely bent in and it destroyed my driver side quarter panel when I hit the sign. It killed me.

Yeah like most people will tell you you can turbo it man and those motors will be fun depending on which d series you have I went the other direction and went completely different most people hate d-series and if you're going to run one most people go turbo I decided to be different I went all motor and yes you spend a lot more money to get power but I love it because it's a sleeper and it's an underdog I have it in a 95 Civic coupe it's got high compression Pistons better rods better bearings high comp ferra valves, springs retainers stage 3 cam skunk two intake manifold 70 mill throttle body bigger injectors bigger fuel pump but even when I just had intake headers exhaust high comp Pistons and the skunk2 intake manifold and throttle body I was beating my buddies with bolt on B series all day and people get so mad when they lose to a d series yes dual cam motors have way more potential but it's fun being the underdog and surprising the hell out of people with an all motor d series you can make any motor fun man it's all about what you want and how much you're willing to spend I love my d-series my other car is a 04 V6 6-speed Accord coupe hfp model and that thing's fast and of course comes with way more horsepower stock but I love that d-series to death you can have fun with yours too man if you ever need pointers send me a message
